This is a lovely package curated by a market in Salt Lake City. It includes several boxes of high-quality tinned fish and a bonus: Anna Hezel’s excellent cookbook,Tin to Table, filled with recipes for turning them into actual dishes.

If she likes the finer things in life (and you have the budget), she’ll love this trio of caviars from Pearl Street. It comes with 12-gram tins each of Keluga, Ossetra, and Siberian Select. She can enjoy them right away with all the accompaniments they send, too (chives, chips, crème fraîche, and a tiny mother-of-pearl spoon), or save the tins for a few weeks to break out on an occasion.

Even if she’s an avid cook, chances are her spice cabinet could use a refresh. The Spice House makes some of my favorites, and this is a lovely lineup with a mix of some basics (like cinnamon, paprika, and garlic) and more unexpected blends (like a shallot-and-herb mix and a meat rub with garlic and pepper).

Laurie Ellen Pellicano makes the best shortbread cookies and crackers, and these use Diaspora Co.’s vibrant, fresh spices. If she prefers straight chocolate bars to baked goods, I love this special set of 12 from Deux, which includes highly appealing flavor combinations like dark chocolate with miso almonds, hojicha caramel milk chocolate, and matcha chocolate with strawberry.
