Shopping for your wife can be tricky, mostly because wives come in many varieties — there’s no one gift that works for everyone. With that said, the best gifts are personal, whether you follow up on something she mentioned while you binge-watched a show or gift something that complements her interests. To source good gifts, I’ve combed the Strategist archives, rummaged through my mental Rolodex, and also interviewed many tasteful, stylish wives in order to put together a list of gift ideas. I’ve covered a lot of bases here, so all manner of wives (from those in marathon training to wives who have a tinned-fish obsession) are catered to. My forever gifting philosophy is to mix highbrow and lowbrow. Stuff a Coach bag full of her favorite childhood candy! Get her a fancy stand mixer to go along with a newcookbook! Or perhaps some absurdly luxurious pajamas to pair with a restock of fluffy socks. You know her the best!
