Knix, one of our favorite underwear and shapewear brands, is running itsanniversary salefrom April 29 to May 4, with anywhere from 15 to 40 percent off most of its products. I’m a big fan of its leakproof period underwear, which is featured in several of our best-in-class lists, from thebest period underwearto themost comfortable thongs, many of which are discounted for the duration of the sale. I have and wear multiple different cuts of Knix’s leakproof period underwear, but the bikini and high-rise are my favorites. WriterArielle Avilaprefers the French cut, which has a higher waistband, and the thong for light-flow days. The moderate version is designed to absorb roughly the same amount as 2.5 tampons, and there are three other varieties (light,heavy, andultra) depending on your flow needs. It’s made from a buttery-smooth fabric that looks invisible under clothes and feels moisture-wicking on the body.

Knix Thigh Saver - 6"
Former Strategist senior writerKaren Iorio AdelsonandKara McGrath, deputy digital director at Allure, are big fans of these shorts, which work as bothshapewearand toprevent thigh chafing. The smooth fabric is lightweight enough to fit under dresses, and they also come in aleakproof versionif you want that extra layer of protection.

Knix bras are super comfortable; they’re made from the same soft, stretchy material as the brand’s underwear, so they feel light and smooth on the skin. I have and like both of these bras. They feel like bralettes with a little extra support (and a better fit, thanks to wider sizing options). I can wear either of these for a long day of running around and still don’t feel like I need to immediately unhook them when I get home.

Knix makes great swimsuits with that same leakproof technology. If I can’t get out of a beach or pool excursion on a high-cramp day, I wear the high-rise bikini bottoms, which look classically vintage while still feeling high-coverage.

I have two pairs of leggings from Knix, both leakproof, and I like having that extra peace of mind while working out — whether or not I’m on my period. They’re comfortable and relatively cute (especially when paired with amatching sports bra) and are under $60 during the anniversary sale.

I’ve recently rekindled my running practice, and I’m interested in this pair of exercise shorts for hot days. I like that they have two layers — one that stays in place and protects against chafing, and one that protects against me feeling like I’m just wearing underwear.
