What Mae Whitman Brings in Her Carry-on

Summer getaway season is here, which means that you are going to need to bring some things with you. In a bag. To help us decide what to pack (and what to pack it in), we’ve enlisted some celebrities to tell us what they’re lugging. Today, the travel essentials of Arrested Development and The Duff actress Mae Whitman. Welcome to My Carry-on.

I love Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour cream. You can put it on anything, and it takes away those nasty dry-plane blues.

This kit comes with concealer, Boy Brow, and a lip/cheek stain, and I travel with it because it’s compact and can fit in my purse, and keeps me from looking like I passed away on the flight.

If I’m going somewhere cold, I’ll wear these No. 6 clog boots, but because it’s summer and I’m going someplace warm, I like my Paez slip-ons. I also go everywhere with my Blundstones.

A good book is always necessary! Right now, it’s this one.

My friend Keiko makes the most amazing line of soaps and sprays called Golda — it’s antimicrobial and also super relaxing, and perfect for freshening up. [Editor’s note: Aubrey Plaza is a fan of the spray as well.] I wash everything with it and travel with the soap because obviously it’s easier than liquids.

My best friend Jane picked out my cool new sunglasses for me and I loooove them. I have to go everywhere this summer in them.

I like to bring my Polaroid camera with me. (I know it’s a Fuji, but I call it a Polaroid.) The pictures are so cool-looking, plus I don’t like being on my phone.

I always have my Rachel Antonoff reproductive sweatshirt for righteous coziness.
