It’s a sad day to be the Strategist’sunderwearwriter: Parade is shutting down. It was an underwear upstart that opened around the same time as Knickey andArqand made a name for itself with its size range that went up to a size 3XL and its recycled Re:Play fabric. (In 2023, Parade was sold to thesame manufacturer that sells Fruit of the Loom.) It had a loyal following that included everyone from Megababe founderKatie SturinotoStrategist readers. But in anInstagram postaddressed to “Parade friends and community,” the company announced it would be closing its doors today, October 28. Now, it’s having a going-out-of-business sale and offering 50 percent off sitewide with code CIRCUS50. Predictably, stock is low as are sizes (at most, a boy short is still stocked in XS to L) and colors (except the black Eightball, which is available in nearly everything) are limited. It’s the end of an underwear era — and you know what to do. To help, here’s what’s left that’s mostly in stock:
