The Shark PowerDetect Pet Plus is my pick forthe best overall cordless vacuumbecause it combines excellent cleaning power across all types of flooring with convenient features — like a self-emptying dock — that are still missing from much more expensive competitors. Its dual-brush-roller floor-cleaning head was better at dislodging and sucking up debris from soft and hard floors alike than any other cordless vacuum head I’ve tested. I’d happily recommend this vacuum at its full price (typically $550), but it’s all the easier to love at its current Prime Day sale price of $380 — matching its lowest price ever.
