Socks might seem like an unexciting present to some but, here at the Strategist, we politely disagree.Certainsocks can make for very delightful gifts often because they’re both practical and cozy, which is a hard-to-beat combination. I’ve personally always had some sensory issues with socks (bumpy seams and scratchy fabrics specifically bothered me as a kid), which has made me into an adult who’s highly particular when it comes to the pairs I wear. To create this guide, I’ve perused our archive for top-recommended socks and tapped our writers and editors for their wish-list socks, a.k.a. the ones they would love to receive this holiday season.
From dressy cashmere to grippy socks and even a pair adorned with dozens of small pearls, there’s a pair of socks for every person on your list. If you need more ideas, ourholiday-gift-guide hubhas suggestions for all your gift-giving conundrums.
