There’s Never Been a Better Price on the Best TV
I recently made the case that last year’s mid-range LG OLED TV is the one to buy, irrespective of the actual calendar year, because having an extra $500-plus in one’s checking account is more noticeable for most people than a 3 percent improvement in brightness levels. Today, that TV is the 2024 LG C4, now on sale for Memorial Day, starting at just under $800 for the 42-inch model.

All sizes are on sale, but the best deal is for the 65-inch version, which, at $1,299.99, costs an astonishing $1,000 less than its 2025 counterpart. The 55-inch version I have is $1,197, which is still $200 less than it was a couple of weeks ago, but not nearly as impressive.
