New-Stuff Alert: Aesop’s Advent Calendar and Tyler McGillivary’s Egg Tote
For this week’s “Don’t Dillydally,” we’ve rounded up a range of newly released products we’re particularly excited about, including Flamingo Estate pantry staples, Lazy Oaf x Peanuts for the 75th anniversary of the comic strip, and a Carlyle calendar with Jenny Walton’s illustrations.

The Aesop Abode
We’ve come a long way from the first commercially printed Advent calendars with Bible verses. Behind each door of the Abode is a member of the Aesop family, including Eleos hand balm, Olous room spray, and Resurrection hand wash. Unusually, the calendar counts down in odd numbers to 25 (traditional Advent starts the fourth Sunday before Christmas).

Good grief, more Peanuts! This year marks the comic strip’s 75th birthday, celebrated by a collaboration between cartoonist Charles M. Schulz’s characters (Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and Woodstock) and Lazy Oaf. Like the brand’s collaborations with The Flintstones and Looney Tunes, it’s just fun. There’s everything from knits in primary colors to Sherpa fleece.

From Lisa Says Gah (LSG) and Tyler McGillivary (TMG) comes Midnight Breakfast. Available only on the Tyler McGillivary site, the collection is an ode to the late-night diner with prints featuring a spilled cup of coffee, a cherry-topped milkshake, and ketchup and mustard bottles. (Note: It’s excluded from Black Friday promotions.)

New to Flamingo Estate’s pantry staples (which include creamed manuka honey and strawberry barbecue sauce) for the season are Parmesan wheels made from the milk of cows in Benedello di Pavullo, by a family that has been in the affineur business since 1855; a burnt-honey pie from pastry chef Melissa Chou (who is James Beard–nominated) with a beeswax-scented sabayon; and a fig balsamic vinegar that tastes “part caramel, part wildflower, part cream.” All gifts for a host, if you ask me.
The Carlyle’s 2026 calendar

Last year’s calendar from the Carlyle sold out quickly. (It’s easier to get than Pirelli’s, though.) It returns for its 11th year with illustrations by Jenny Walton inspired by the interiors of the hotel, whose guests have included everyone from Harry S. Truman to David Bowie.

Designer Sophie Lou Jacobsen’s first homeware collection (according to a press rep) in over two years is here. It’s inspired by European Continental breakfast spreads with a toast rack that’s “a little indulgent, like salted French butter,” a saucière to pour sauces, and a Bell Pot for tea or coffee.
