I’ve been covering home goods for five years, and in that time, I’ve become convinced that Wayfair’s prices are controlled by some fickle deals wizard who goes on vibes alone. Sales fluctuate constantly; original retail prices are merely a suggestion. You find something on Wayfair that seems like a steal — until you check another store and find out that the discount is just the normal price.
But today, we noticed something: For some products, Wayfair is matching the prices at Amazon forPrime Day. This isn’t across the board — I found a few items where Wayfair’s listing is a few bucks more or less expensive, or the item isn’t on sale at all — but it’s a reminder that some of these sale prices are attached to something in the real world. I’ve included all the price-matched deals we caught and gone through our deep archive of Wayfair content to pull out more worthwhile items. I also checked the big-ticket items againstother Prime Week salesto make sure you’re getting the best deal.
