The Very Best Air Purifier Is Nearly 40 Percent Off
As temps drop, we’re all about to spend a lot of time indoors — and therefore a lot of time around people, especially with the holidays around the corner. So it’s a good time to consider an air purifier (or two) to combat all the germs, dust, and pet hair that being cooped up brings. Luckily, our best overall air purifier, Coway’s Airmega Mighty model, is close to 40 percent off at both Amazon and the brand’s website. At least five New York staffers, myself included, swear by it; Strategist home writer Lauren Ro has one in each room of her home.
The Airmega Mighty has all the traditional markers of a good air purifier, like a HEPA filter and an easy-to-read filter-replacement indicator, and it has over 1,700 square feet of coverage. It has three fan speeds, which you can set to adjust automatically or manually. I permanently keep mine on the second setting, which acts as a not too loud white-noise machine in my bedroom. Plus, it looks more like a handsome piece of tech than a bulky appliance, so it’s not too embarrassing to display out in the open.
