Our Bedding Writer’s Guide to All the Best Black Friday Bedding Deals

Comforters — especially ones filled withdown— are expensive, but they are one of those investment items you won’t regret. I love something that’s incredibly lofty and fluffy, and the higher you go up in weight, the pricier it will be. Luckily, many, if not most of these Black Friday bedding deals include discounts on down comforters, which can go for hundreds of dollars. Below are some of my recommendations for if you want to splurge on a cloudlike blanket for the winter to come.

At ABC Home’s Black Friday sale, the more you spend, the more you save. Discounts begin at 20 percent off for purchases $350 and up, all the way up to 35 percent. ABC’s mohair throws are a classic (but expensive) gift — luckily, they’re on sale this weekend.

Amazon’s Black Friday sale includes a lot of bedding, too, if you know where to look. Our favoritebamboo cooling sheetsare on sale, as are a couple of pillows, including a Best in Class down-alternative pick from Casper and a two-sided Tempur-Pedic pillow that our sleep writer, Amelia Jerden, says is very nice. Boll & Branch is offering 25 percent off any purchases $200 and up with code CYBER25 and up to 50 percent off on select styles — plus an extra 25 percent off on sale items. That includes my favorite washed sateen sheets, a lived-in, almost-crispy sateen sheet that feels closer to percale.

The Citizenry’s linen sheets are made from French flax linen and are some of the coolest sheets we’ve tried. For Black Friday, they’re 20 percent off, but you can save up to 35 percent sitewide — and not just on bedding.

If you want a one-stop shop for all things for your bed, I can’t think of a more solid choice than the Company Store, which does every category superbly well. It makes my all-time favorite down comforter, thebest jersey sheets, and some very nice linen sheets as well. If you want to try sheets that are not cotton or linen, consider Cozy Earth’s bamboo set, one of our favorites for how silky smooth it is. You can save up to 35 percent off everything else sitewide, too.

You can also build your own set, in case you don’t like to use a top sheet. There are some very giftable items on sale, too. My favorite sheets — the ones I reach for most often in my linen closet — are Morrow’s matte sateen sheets. They’re so soft and buttery and only get better with time. There are some decent bedding deals to be found at Nordstrom, too. I particularly like this large-scale dotted duvet and sham set from Marimekko. For the most durable linen in extremely pleasing colors and patterns, British brand Piglet in Bed is your best bet. I love the gingham check but also love this elderberry color. You can get those and much more for 25 percent off during the brand’s Black Friday “Barn” Sale.

You can save up to 50 percent off at Pottery Barn’s Black Friday sale, which includes my absolute favorite, coziest throw, thefaux-fur ruched blanket, now 30 percent off, which my husband and I fight over all the time. It’s also a gift that I’ve given countless times.

New deals roll out every day during Quince’s Black Friday deals, including on some of our favorite bedding, like the brand’s European linen sheets, which we love for how soft — and affordable — they are. Today, they’re even cheaper.

Strategist toy writer Liza Corsillo prefers to top her bed with aquilt rather than a comforter, and her favorite ones come from Schoolhouse, which is offering 20 percent off everything, or 25 percent off orders $250 and up. I also love the brand’s patterned sheets.
