It’s the most wonderful time of the year for a deal with Cyber Monday officially here. And while many of these sales have been live for a week or longer, now is truly your last chance to buy them. I know a thing about Cyber Monday; it’s my fourth year covering the shopping holiday for the Strategist. If Prime Day is theStrategist’s Super Bowl, then Black Friday and Cyber Monday are our Olympics.
Across the board, this year’s Cyber Monday fashion deals are the same as last year’s. But if you’re wondering where to go first, it’s the mall brands. Not only for the inventory online but for nearly everything being on sale. For example, the Gap is offering up to 60 percent off, and Banana Republic up to 50 percent off. (I myself will be getting a lot of shopping done at J.Crew; under Olympia Gayot, it may be better than I can remember.) This is the only time of year retailers like Anthropologie and & Other Stories have sitewide sales too. Deals I personally think are the best
Anthropologie’s Black Friday sale has expanded to offer 50 percent off select full-price items for Cyber Monday, and its popular Colette pants are going for $60, the lowest price I can remember. Another great deal is on a merino-wool sweater from Banana Republic, which dropped from $72 to $60 today. Select styles at the Gap are going for 60 percent off, including this $13 turtleneck. Over at Old Navy, the discounts are between 50 percent and 60 percent off, and these “Jennifer Lawrence–y” track pants our senior writer Lauren Ro just ordered are $20. Meanwhile, Alex Mill is taking up to 50 percent off select styles. The striped version of its Nico cardigan (whichStrategist readers lovedlast year) is less than $100. AndNew Yorkdeputy editor Alexis Swerdloff says, “The Boden sale is honestly kind of amazing.” She likes this scarf, for instance; it’s 40 percent off right now.
