If You Buy One Thing on Prime Day, Make It This Barber-Approved Electric Razor

There is no shortage of face-razor options, butelectric razorstend to be the easiest to use. Since they are powered by motors and are high-tech cutting mechanisms, these razors tend to require less prep and minimal maintenance afterward, especially compared tosafetyorcartridgerazors. The latter might give you an overall closer shave but with a greater risk ofcutting your face. And actually, as electric razors have improved with time, some have become capable of getting you the super-close shave you might expect from a cartridge option. Take the Braun Series 9 razor, for example. As we write in our guide toelectric razors:
“The Braun Series 9 is the cream of the crop,” says master barber Angelo Ruscetta of American Haircuts in Kennesaw, Georgia. There is a catch, of course. Electric razors as universally acclaimed as the Braun Series 9 — which includes an automatic self-cleaning base — do not come cheap. At full price, the shaver could cover the price of years’ worth of manual-razor cartridges. But right now, thanks toPrime Day, the Series 9 razor is selling for the lowest price we’ve seen since late 2019: $215. That 20 percent discount makes this an extremely tantalizing option for anyone whose post-vaxx summer plans include getting rid of the ZZ Top mane that’s been hanging out beneath their chin.
