New Stuff Alert: J.Crew Vans and Pickles by Pamela Anderson

Joining Flamingo Estate’s pantry ofspiced pear and plum jam,persimmon vinegar, andcreamed manuka honeyare pickles by Pamela Anderson. They’re brined in a recipe passed down from Anderson’s great-aunt, with ingredients including rose petals, dill, mustard, and garlic (plus, flavors from the Estate: pink peppercorns, guajillo chile, and smoked sea salt). All the proceeds from Pamela’s Pickles are going toward theCalifornia Wildlife Center, a nonprofit that helps rescue and rehabilitate wild animals native to the state.

Graza, famous for itsprofessional-kitchen-inspired squeeze bottlesof extra-virginolive oil, now offers its Sizzle (for high-smoke-point cooking) and Drizzle (finishing) in glass bottles. Each comes with a removable pop-up spout to make pouring and refilling a little easier.

There’s another Sanrio and Baggu collaboration afoot, with Hello Kitty and her friends Pompompurin, Melody, and Kuromi (a lack of Cinnamoroll, sadly) on Baby Baggus andPuffy Laptop Sleeves.

Anthropologie’s annual, much-anticipatedbeauty Advent calendaris already here. (As a onetimeAnthropologie employee, I remember customers stocking up on them.) This year’s calendar includes skin-care samples from Vacation, Supergoop, Peter Thomas Roth, Caudalie, and Mario Badescu.

Quince, which inexplicably sells caviar and lab-grown diamonds on the same site, entered the perfume business this year. The once sold-out scents are back now. Some smellprettydupelike, including one for Le Labo’s Santal 33 and another Baccarat’s Rouge 540, according toour friends over at the Cut.

For touch-ups “at your fingertips,” there’s Odele x Susan Alexandra. In this new set is a sample ofOdele’s dry shampooand a Susan Alexandra beaded bag charm (that’s sized to fit the bottle of powder on the go), plus minis of the hair-care company’s frizz-smoothing air-dry styler and high-shine oil featuring camellia and baobab.

Samantha Pleet introduced jewelry inspired by the motifs seen in its prints: suns and moons with painted-on faces, hearts with wings, a rosebud named after the Greek Persephone. The production of the pieces is averyNew York operation, involving a Hudson Valley glassmaker and assembly at a studio in Chatham.

The newest J.Crew and Vans sneakers are based on the #44 Deck Shoe, now known as the Authentic, the shoemaker’s first-ever sneaker. This exclusive version features waffle-rubber outsoles and cotton-canvas uppers. And while manymen’s sizesare sold out, most women’s sizes aren’t (for now, at least).
