For this week’s “Don’t Dillydally,” we’ve rounded up a range of newly released products we’re particularly excited about, including the updated Joolz Aer2 stroller, Flamingo Estate’s fresh and herby Green Goddess collection, and a trio of vintage-inspired sunglasses from Buck Mason.
Each year at the end of August, my inbox gets hit with a barrage of pumpkin-spice-themed emails. There are so many that I usually skim through them at top speed, if I open them at all. But this week, I’ve plucked the two most promising from the bunch. First, because I am already anxious about back-to-school germs, I am intrigued by Touchland’s seasonal drop, which contains four new hand-sanitizer scents: Spiced Pumpkin-tini, Peppermint Mocha, Salted Caramel, and Cinnamon Gingerbread. While I prefer an unscented hand sani, I have no doubt that teens and tweens will be clamoring for all four.

And the second pumpkin drop is a collaboration between goat-milk skin-care brand Beekman 1802 andLibby’s canned pumpkin purée. I am not usually drawn to sweet-smelling beauty products, but this sounds delicious. The collection includes body lotion, hand cream, bar soap, and whipped body cream infused with the scent of toasted sugar and warm spices.

Flamingo Estate’s Green Goddess collection is much more my speed, as I prefer candles and soaps to smell like something I might have foraged or harvested. Plus I like the reference to salad dressing. I asked Strategist writer Ambar Pardilla, who got an early sample of the candle, to describe it for me. “It smells like freshly picked mint at first. Then it is very similar to just-cut grass — a smell I love, by the way. It’s what I imagine Ina Garten’s garden in East Hampton smells like,” she reports.

Speaking of goddesses, period-product brand Cora has launched a tampon bag charm that doubles as a carrying case for one tampon. (You could also put a lip balm or a pair of earrings in there if you want.) With each charm sold, Cora is donating $5 to Support the Girls, a nonprofit providing period products to people experiencing homelessness or poverty.

Micro Kickboard just launched a new scooter that starts out as a rocker with a parent bar for children as young as 1. The Rock & Go has six different stages that take kids all the way up through age 6, preparing them for independent scooting. The final stage is a big-kidscooterwith adjustable handlebars.

The originalJoolz Aer strolleris my favorite travel stroller and the one that I use on a daily basis around Brooklyn, so I am extremely excited to try out the new, upgraded Joolz Aer2. I’m especially curious about the bigger storage basket, one-hand recline, and bigger wheels.

In my head-to-headreviews of the Yoto Mini and the Toniebox audio players, I wrote about the Toniebox as a toy for younger children. And even though my son, who’s now 2 and a half, has played with it since he was 12 months old, it has always been rated as 3-plus because of small parts. But the new Toniebox 2 is leaning into audio entertainment for even littler kids. It’s available only to preorder at the moment (I don’t even have my hands on one yet) and is expected to ship in October. Now rated for children 12 months old and up, the Toniebox 2 has softer, more rounded corners plus a sleep timer and a sunrise alarm to help establish bedtime and morning routines. There are also new squishy Tonies for toddlers and games you can play with a board and a twist controller that you can add to the top of your Toniebox 2.

Just in time for fall hikes, Birkenstock has launched the Boston Crosstown clog that is just like the original Boston clog but with agrippier, more rugged sole that’s designed to take on bumpy trails and wet leaves or slick, uneven sidewalks with ease.
Buck Mason’s new collection of sunglasses pulls from three decades of American men’s style. The Caddy sunglasses are inspired by stylish men who drove Cadillacs in the 1950s. The Speedster sunglasses are inspired by those worn on 1960s racetracks. And the Nighthawk sunglasses are inspired by military-issued shades from the 1970s.

And Herman Miller just launched the reissue of another mid-century design classic: the Eames Molded Plastic dining chair. This time around, though, it is being offered without upholstery and is made from 99 percent postindustrial recycled plastic.
