New Stuff Alert: Ikea Ceiling Fans and Dansko for Madewell
For this week’s Don’t Dillydally, we’ve rounded up a range of newly released products we’re particularly excited about, including Madewell x Dansko denim clogs, cheap Ikea ceiling fans, and tin windup toys at Salter House.
Ouai Thickening Spray

The latest addition to Ouai’s hair-care line (which includes a leave-in conditioner that’s a longtime Strategist favorite) is the Thickening Spray. It’s formulated with strengthening amino acids and an amaranth peptide, and there’s built-in heat protection for up to 450 degrees with a blow-dryer. Like the company’s anti-dandruff shampoo and scalp serum, it smells like its Cape Town fragrance with notes of tomato leaves and wet grass.

Just before another hot Honeywell summer, Ikea has launched U.S.-exclusive ceiling fans. All the fans feature at least three different speeds and include either a built-in LED or a bulb. (They’re pretty cheap, starting at $40, a seemingly pre-pre-inflation price.)

It’s summer already at Hill House Home, where broderie, mariner-themed toile, and cotton voile abounds. The pattern on this “sweet pea” nightgown looks almost lucky-clover-esque.

Filson teamed up with fishing-gear brand Housefly for a limited-edition release including a duckbill cap with a removable sheepskin shearling and a waist pack with a deployable rain cover for those who know their way around the great outdoors.

Inspired by his home in Ojai called Orange Hill Farm, interior designer Mark D. Sike’s first collection for Pottery Barn has citrus motifs and lilac-field prints across indoor-outdoor furniture and dinnerware (plates, bowls, mugs).

Some more interior news of note: Brooklinen’s bedding — sheet sets, duvets, quilts, and pillow covers — were reimagined with Caroline Z. Hurley’s block-printed textiles.

One of the buzziest new workout-wear lines, Literary Sport, collaborated with Happier Grocery on a sport towel that has a velour front and terry back (for absorbency’s sake). It first appeared as part of a Literary Sport group run.
Tin Toys at Salter House

New to Salter House’s children’s section are windup toys made out of tin from the former USSR. These collectibles come in the form of a pecking rooster, bird, flying duck, and ballerina (who’s more like a Matryoshka doll).

Finally, your kid can roll around an Away carry-on of their own. Its kid-size suitcases are similar to the adult ones, TSA-compliant combination lock and all.
