It’s almostFather’s Day! That means it’s time to turn your attention to probably the hardest person in your family to buy for. For me, Father’s Day is such a task because my magpie-esque dad will simply buy himself any new shiny thing that catches his eye. Perhaps your dad is the opposite, the definition of economical, and never hints at a desire for anything more than what he has. Either way, the key toFather’s Dayis figuring out a gift that they didn’t even know they wanted, like a plush robe to replace the decade old one, or the cookbook of a restaurant they once saw onAnthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown. As budget is also important, I’ve separated 37 thoughtful gifts for all kinds of dad (fromartistdads torunnerdads) by price. I personally like to mix and match with both budget, and practicality: This year it might be a handsome new razor paired with a silly box of chocolate sardines. But we all have our own gifting philosophy!
