What Chelsea Handler Can’t Live Without

My Canada Dry is very special to me. I don’t have one every day, but when I travel, I need some carbonation. I always have them in my hotel rooms. It just gives me a little extra pep and I like the crispness. It’s my treat. Somehow, in my mind, it’s not really soda because it’s clear, so there’s no food coloring. That’s what I tell myself, anyway.

Ginger ale has been my go-to since I was a little girl in New Jersey. Anytime I had a stomachache, my parents gave me ginger ale, but they would make me drink it at room temperature. I’m against that. I like it ice cold.

I just love Starbucks’ little snack boxes. I like anything that’s miniature. Like the Canada Dry mini bottles I prefer over the big ones. I only need a couple sips of everything and a couple bites of everything. So I love the food they have at Starbucks. I love the little sandwich meals and the little hummus plates. That’s where I go when I want to snack in the middle of the day.

You know how some leggings, you can see every little imperfection through them? The Alo leggings are beautiful because they don’t show anything. They just suck you in. I don’t know what material Alo uses, but they have the shiny kind and they have regular cotton, and both are really nice to work out in. It seems to be a cool brand — my friends are all going to this workout gym they have in Hollywood. But I feel like when you work out in Alo pants, afterward you don’t feel like you have to get them off your body right away. You can wear them around.

Tanqueray is my gin of choice. I like it with a splash of soda. I like a dry gin. A lot of gins to me are a little too floral-y. I don’t like any flower scents. I don’t like flowery perfume. I like real flowers, but I don’t like when they’re bottled, so I don’t like any floral scents in alcohol. Tanqueray is the driest. It’s a London gin, so there’s a nice chicness to that as well. But the great thing about Tanqueray is that everyone has it.

I have a house in Whistler, and in the wintertime, I’m there skiing pretty much five days a week. I stay usually through mid-April. This year has been a bit different because I had mybookand my special come out, so I’m working a lot more than I typically do, but I’m hoping for a real long winter next year.

Smith is just a really cool brand. It has been good to me over the years, and it’s just the best ski brand, in my opinion. It has tons of helmets — I have a bunch because I’m always having guests stay at my house, so everyone always needs a helmet. It has lots of different styles with different aerations; you can have one that’s completely covered or you can have one with holes in it. Smith has the best goggles, too.

I was starting to drink those AG1 drinks, the green juice that provides all your vitamins and minerals for the day, and then they came out with a gummy version. First of all, I love gummy bears. So I was pretty excited about vitamin gummy bears. I have a pack every day and I get all my nutrients without having to take a bunch of supplements, which is a nice perk. They’re sweet and they taste delicious, even the sugar-free ones. Sometimes I have them as dessert, because rather than having something sweet and bad for you, I’m like, well, these are goodandgood for you.

I have very high cheekbones, so I don’t like when sunglasses hit my face there because it causes an indentation. Tom Ford sunglasses are the best because I never get those lines when I take them off. And Tom Ford is pretty hot too, so that’s nice.

I always go for a square shape and all black. I don’t want you to see my eyes through my sunglasses. That’s why I’m wearing them: to avoid eye contact.

So our cells get old and they age, and the way to regenerate your cell health is withNAD+. You can get infusions of it through IVs or you can inject yourself with an NAD peptide. But this is a great anti-aging supplement to take. I read about an experiment with mice — when they started taking NAD, they were able to reverse the aging process. So I’m really holding onto these. I take two every morning as soon as I wake up.

When I’m not in makeup and hair, I don’t wear a lot of makeup. I don’t have a big skin regimen. I’m not somebody who comes home and takes all my makeup off; I just go to bed. I use Gold Bond’s healing skin therapy lotion to keep myself hydrated, especially when I’m skiing so much. I don’t like dry skin — on myself or on other people — so I’m constantly lubricating with Gold Bond.
