We live by these goggles. It’s pool season all year round in L.A. The amount that I bought of them — they keep the kids’ eyes from getting red and they can swim longer underwater. They love to be little mermaids. And these are actually super easy to put on. I’ve tried my fair share of goggles, and the ones that are rubber get stuck in their hair.

Rome is 4, and it’s literally her favorite thing right now. She got it as a birthday gift and she’s obsessed with driving it. We just take her out on the sidewalk, and she loves it. And I get it. I didn’t have a fancy car like that when I was her age, but I always wanted one. She says, “I want to go for a drive,” and it’s very cute and they have a good time. Now I need to get a two-seater because Atlas, who is 6, has grown out of this one.

I have a water bottle with me at all times, so they see how much I use mine. Staying hydrated from the inside out is super important, as I tell them. It’s not just about what you put on your skin. They each have their own HydroJug and they carry it with them. It’s something they’ve seen and now they’re emulating a good part of the routine. I also love the fact that it’s stainless steel. We’ve removed quite a bit of plastic from our household, so anything that is stainless steel, I feel great about it. And it keeps the water cold, which is nice when you know it’s going to be in the car on long days.

They’re really cute. They’re so soft. I mean, I love my robe and the blanket, and these are great little car stuffies. That’s where they live, they don’t live on the bed. Romey’s is the Stitch, and Atlas’s is the butterfly. They use them as a pillow in the car. They’re a great little car companion, is what I call them. Car buddies.

I love saying “Piyama.” That’s actually how my daughters said “pajamas” for the longest time, so when I first saw this branding, I was like,Oh, that’s genius. We’ve been trying to make small changes around here, and I feel like a lot of the pajamas I’ve gotten before were not made from the best fabrics and materials. When you’re sleeping, how you wanna have better material on your skin over that duration of time. We’ve moved to 100 percent cotton, and this company makes super-cute dresses. They make things for adults, too, so we can also match. I love these sets where I can have the same thing as them. I feel good about them sleeping in it as I do about myself. The great thing about this lounge dress is that you wear it as pajamas, but then you can also go out and have breakfast in it and nobody knows. They have a lot of great things, which sometimes I think,This is almost too cute to not be seen by the world.

There’s a whole collection of them and they’re super fun. The stories are cute, and they rhyme with a nice flow. The illustrations are so beautiful. It’s funny, because the author mentions designer names in it, so they’re also getting to learn a little bit about fashion. We love this book set. It’s a great gift, too.

We’re pretty strict with the iPad use because when we watch movies, those are only on the TV screens. But when they travel, that’s a different story. I feel good about them being on their iPad when they’re playing any of these games because I feel like they’re more educational and they’re fun. They did a really great job with this app, so this is one that I would definitely recommend to other parents.

They like watching what their mom and dad wear, and we wear a lot of Nikes, so it’s a cute way for them to also wear those shoes. They’re super comfortable. We also try and get the matching ones because they like to match, so it’s nice that they’re available in both of their sizes, and if we want the whole family to match, we can.

They’re super fun because they can be out and about and they can connect like a cell phone, but obviously without cell-phone apps. It has a video component, too, so they can see each other. If they’re out and one’s getting ice cream somewhere, they can chime in and be like, “What do you want?” It’s their way of communicating and it’s great for trips. The video is actually pretty decent. Listen, they’re not getting phones until as long as I can hold out. Walkie-talkies, though, totally okay.

Rini, which comes from the Korean word for “kiddo,” came about from personal experiences with having two of my own girls and the day-to-day life experiences that happen and then needing solutions to those things. They were at a birthday party that had face painting, which my girls love. When it was time to take it off, I didn’t really know how because the hot washcloth wasn’t really working and they were getting annoyed because it’s not the most comfortable feeling. I wasn’t going to use my makeup wipes or my face wash, which has actives in it. I was in this predicament, and then I went to the group chat that I have with a couple of other moms, and they didn’t know either. It was one of those things where I was like,Well, there should be something, since this happens all the time, whether it’s food that’s caked on, or in this case paint or sparkles or sunscreen. We need to have awipeto take it all off just like we do as adults.

One of our newest products is the Daily Barrier Cream, which is one of my actual favorite products from our line. From day one, we were super focused on developing a formula that was packed with ceramides to help support and protect kids’ skin while also delivering long-lasting hydration. And on that, I’m pretty proud because we are clinically proven to provide up to 72 hours of continuous moisture. A lot of people make claims and sometimes you get 24, but the fact that this is actually 72 hours and it’s been tested was a huge feat for us, along with being accepted by the National Eczema Association. As a parent, I feel like creating products that families can feel good about using every day has always been the heart of what we’re building at Rini. And this is a product I really believe in. It’s also something I am using on myself, so not only do they get to use it, but I do, too.
