Zhao tested the Leesa Original and says it’s the springiest foam mattress he’s ever slept on. “There’s a return, or bounce, that I don’t get from, say, a Casper or Tuft & Needle,” Zhao says. “And none of the sinking I associate with pure memory foam.” It also has a pleasantly medium-firm feel that works for lots of people. The Tempur-LuxeBreeze is one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve ever slept on — the memory foam is so dense and conforming I almost felt suspended in space. It’s also one of the most effectivecoolingmattresses I’ve ever slept on. Tempur-Pedic’s discounts usually aren’t as big as the ones at other mattress brands, so even though the LuxeBreeze is only 9 percent off, that’s still a decent sale.
