That’s a decade of product reviews and recommendations, or the equivalent of roughly a trillion articles and a gazillion products — many of which we still love, use regularly, and would buy again. Just last week,Kelly Rowlandtold us that she can’t live without YogaToes, something I first wrote aboutin 2016!
The thing about our site, though — and so many websites, really — is that it’s been very hard to search for the exact things you’re looking for at the exact moment you want them. And as Google Search becomes a shell of itself, making all that searching even harder, we set out to help you find the Strategist-endorsed products you need.
A brand-new search experience.
We’ve just rolled out an entirely new way tosearch our site. It’s so much better! Type any product or product category you’re looking for into the search bar and, along with recent articles, you’ll get a big list of products we’ve already recommended. You can then filter those products by best sellers, find what’s currently on sale, or even pick a specific price range. From there, you can click to buy directly from our search page or head to the article to read more about why we recommend it.
Some helpful use cases:
• You’re going away next weekend and desperately need new sunscreen.You give it a quick search, filter for “on sale,” and quickly find some La Roche-Posay Anthelios for 30 percent off.
• A friend’s kid’s first birthday is coming up and you don’t want to spend more than $30 on a gift.You search “birthday gift for 1-year-old,”filter by price, and the results flow in.
• Last week you read an article about Sarah Blakley-Cartwright’s “swimsuit behavior,” but now you can’t remember which one-piece she ended up recommending.Search is there to help.

We also recently introduced aproduct-save featureso that if you see something that intrigues you, but it’s not the exact right moment to smash buy — or you’d like to wait for it to go down in price — you can very easily find it later. All you have to do is click the little heart that now appears on every single product image.
Some helpful use cases:
• You’ve discovered a new eye cream that you’d love to try in a “Beauty Aisle” but you don’t want to buy it before you finish your old eye cream, so you just save it here to remember.
• Building yourself something of a wish list so that the next time someone asks you what you want for your birthday, you can quickly scan your list and send back a link.
• Saving things you know you’ll want to buy once the price goes down. We’ll help with that too.
