Kate McLeod’s body-lotion bars have been a Strategist favorite for battling dry, scaly skin for years. “It’s similar to what I would imagine smearing a nice hunk of butter all over my body might feel like,” writes former Strategist staffer Chloe Anello. “It practically melted into my skin, and it absorbed quickly, too. The whole process was calming and meditative, and I went to bed that night relaxed — and, more important, moisturized.” Two heart-shaped bars — presumably from a limited-edition Valentine’s Day collection — are on sale at both Nordstrom and Kate McLeod’s own site.
