If it feels like the whole internet is on sale this week, that’s because it kind of is. Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days (a.k.a. Prime Day) are taking place today and tomorrow, and Walmart’s competing Deals 2025 event has also just kicked off. It runs through Sunday, October 12, and much of the big-box store’s vast online inventory is discounted by at least 20 percent.
It’s a good time to get some holiday shopping done early and at a discount, stock up on household essentials, or finally pull the trigger on big-ticket tech purchases. Below, I’ve found the best Walmart deals across appliances (robot vacuums, air fryers, hot-air brushes), kids toys (LEGO sets, Magna-Tiles, all things Bluey), tech (iPads, TVs, headphones), and clothing for kids and adults (Hanes tees, Steve Madden heels, Crocs).
Home and kitchen-appliance deals
This is a really good time to buy robot vacuums, air fryers, and electric toothbrushes from brands like Shark, Ninja, and Oral-B. Drew Barrymore’s Walmart homewares brand, Beautiful by Drew, also has some cute electric kettles and toasters that are nicely discounted right now.

Kids toy and luggage deals
As we head into holiday-shopping season, it’s worth noting that almost all of Walmart’s toy section is very on sale right now. Many Strategist-favorite toys are discounted, including LEGO kits, Magna-Tiles, and Melissa & Doug sets. I also spotted kids bikes from Huffy, and both Bluey- and Lilo & Stitch–branded kids suitcases.

Music and DVD deals
The physical-media renaissance is well underway, and Walmart is an ideal place to stock up on both classic and new-release vinyl. Perhaps as a gift for the teen in your life who recently discovered Nirvana? I also spotted DVD box sets on sale alongside affordable Blu-ray and record players.

Walmart isn’t exactly a high-fashion destination, but it has great dupes and wardrobe basics. So far I’m seeing lots of Hanes tees and sweats on sale as well as kids Crocs and cute, wedding-ready Steve Madden heels.
