From Black Friday sales to New Year’s discounts, we’ve been drowning in deals for the past few months. While all of these seasonal bargains are great for buying gifts and treating yourself to something special, the thrill of saving big on some very fun but ultimately frivolous items makes it easy to forget about the everyday (read: boring) essentials we actually need. Now that we’re (hopefully) emerging from the fog of holiday sales, it feels like the right time to highlight the deals on some of these day-to-day necessities. I’ve rounded up 45 legitimately good discounts on cleaning supplies, oral-care products, multivitamins, and more. Many of the below items are things we’ve written about before — like a humidifier that’s great for both winter dryness and flu season and a Best in Class stain remover that also made our “Drugstore 100” — but I included several other everyday things worth having around the house.

The New Year is a great time for a household restock of pretty much everything you’ve been ignoring during the holiday rush, so my favorite deals below run the gamut. First up: the grass-fed, zero-sugar, protein-rich meat sticks from Chomps that my daughter loves (and that I actually feel pretty good about giving her, unlike the majority of prepackaged snacks). I’ll also be munching on them as I reset from my dessert-heavy December diet, so I’m especially happy about the nearly 30 percent discount. If you’re in the market for a new vacuum, the Miele C1 is one of our favorites, and while it’s not cheap, saving $100 is never a bad thing.
