I like a good pair of underwear. And while I do love Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, my No. 1 underwear is J.Crew. I’m an old-school boxer-briefs guy, but sometimes I like a jockstrap — which they don’t make yet, but now I’m manifesting the collaboration. I’m sure all these materials are basically the same, but J.Crew’s quality feels just a touch better because theirs seem to last longer through multiple washes; we won’t call out other brands by name here, but you know what that’s like. I like their socks and white tees, too. I hate to do awhite-teecombo, but a white tee,sock, andunderwearcombo from J.Crew, to me, is the best ever. It’s nostalgic for me. I remember when I was a kid, my oldest brother would shop at J.Crew and I wanted to be like him.

I just got addicted to tiling everything. I bought a house and ended up retiling the whole place using Zia tiles. They have all these different unique shapes and textures you don’t usually see in most places. They make my bathroom look better, my kitchen look better, my patio look better … They also just feel good on my feet. They feel good in the shower.

This is my favorite fragrance, which I believe is named in honor of Zooey Deschanel’s brother. It’s earthy and woodsy, mixed with a citrusy kind of beachy vibe. Sometimes the sandalwood can be overpowering with warm scents, but not here. You have to kind of get in close to really smell it, which I think is perfect. There’s subtlety to it.

Jillian Dempsey is Patrick Dempsey’s wife, but this recommendation has nothing to do with him orGrey’s Anatomy. This eye mask feels like a slippery little eel, but it stays on your face and hardens as it dries. When it’s done hardening, it’s done doing its thing and it pops right off. Eye bags — poof, gone. It is incredible. I have sensitive skin, so I don’t like anything with strong fragrances, but this has a neutral smell.

But a lot of it comes down to having power over my own brain and trying to control my thoughts so I can take care of things from the inside before looking for external relief. I did Transcendental Meditation for a while before falling off it. Now, I just use the Peloton app instead of relying solely on my own thoughts or repeating a mantra. Aditi Shah is my favorite instructor on there, and I do a morning and evening meditation with her every day. I like to do at least ten minutes twice a day, but I’ll do 20 if I can.

This one is kind of literal, but I can’t live without my PrEP by Gilead. It’s one pill that I take every morning so that I don’t have to worry. It’s that simple.
