All the Best Fourth of July Sales: From Ulta to REI

Between all your barbecuing, tanning by the pool, or taking refuge in the AC this long weekend, don’t forget to check out the sales. A ton of our favorite retailers are offering actually good ones for the Fourth of July. There are plenty of discounts on in-season picks like patio furniture, pool towels, and luggage (and lots of time to still use them this summer) as well as sitewide savings on staples you’ll use year-round, like vitamin-C serum, sports bras, and an interior-designer-approved sofa.

Here, we’ve organized the deals alphabetically by merchant. I’m logging off for the weekend, so I can’t guarantee that everything will still be in stock when you’re seeing this — but I’ve included as many details about each sale to help you shop it. If you don’t want to miss any Fourth of July sales coverage (including subscriber-only deals), be sure to sign up for our email newsletter for the latest.

Alex Mill rarely has sales, so we were delighted to see that the brand is offering up to 60 percent off women’s and men’s styles. (Heads up: You do have to enter your email to access the sale.)

Prime Day is still a couple of weeks away (we’ll be covering it in full force on Tuesday, July 11, and Wednesday, July 12), but a few early deals have started rolling in. Most discounts so far are on Amazon’s own devices, but there are some good deals on brands like Dyson and Hanna Andersson if you do some digging. (Which, of course, I did — and you can locate all of my findings in our separate coverage of the early deals here.)

The interior-designer-approved furniture brand is offering savings on hundreds of items through July 9 — including our favorite Sven sofa that’s now under $1,000.

Looks like July is actually the best time to buy an artificial Christmas tree, as Balsam Hill is offering up to 50 percent off all month long. Plus, shipping is free.
