While it may feel like Prime Day 2025 just ended (it hasn’t even been three months since the last marathon sales event came to a close), here comes another string of deal days: Amazon’s Prime Big Deals Days will be live October 7–8, and this time around the goal is to jump-start your holiday shopping. Is it too early to start buying for December when you’re still prepping for Halloween? Probably yes. But is that any reason to let a great deal fall by the wayside? Definitely not.
In that spirit, let’s get warmed up for this next Prime event with some already-live deals worth jumping on, if not for someone on your list, then at least for you. I’ve been looking for decent, and decently priced, cutting boards recently, and what I’ve learned so far is that walnut wood is suitable for sharp knives (not all woods are), and end-grain boards are less prone to cuts and gauges from those aforementioned sharp knives. End-grain boards can also be very pricey, but this is one of the most affordable I’ve seen, and it’s highly rated.
