I pride myself on only featuring discounts that are 20 percent off or above — it’s my threshold for an actually good deal — but this week I’ve changed my tune. Dermstore’s Anniversary Sale went live on Tuesday, and for the first time ever, Skinceuticals’ Best in Class serums are 15 percent off. And nearly a dozen Aesop goodies are 15 percent off at Amazon, which is extremely rare to see. You’ll find both of those discounts below. Don’t worry if you want extra-deep discounts, though: I found everything from a half-off COS jacket to an all-time-low price on cooling bedsheets. But if you shop just one sale today, make it Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale; after several weeks of great deals, it really, truly ends on Sunday night.

Former writer Rachael Griffiths tested out the sapphire shade (which is made for cool-toned skin): “Once it had developed, I was left with a tan very close to the shade I naturally go after a couple of weeks somewhere sunny (no orange tint whatsoever),” she says. “It fades evenly, develops fast (in as few as three hours), and, crucially, it doesn’t transfer onto my bedsheets at all.”

The FreeSip is the style that was most recommended when senior writer Liza Corsillo spoke to parents about water bottles that’ll last the school year. Deputy editor Simone Kitchens and deals writer Martha Tuber swear by it, too. “We have had three of the Owalas with silicone straw tops, but they always leaked,” says Kitchens. The FreeSip doesn’t, and it’s easy to clean.
