What Savannah James Can’t Live Without

I am a water girl. Internal hydration is very important for taking care of yourself in general — your skin, your organs, all the things. So water is always going to be at the top of my list, but right now, Mountain Valley is my top pick. I’ve tried enough to know that not all waters are created equal. They do taste different — it’s a real thing. Mountain Valley has the cleanest taste to me, and I love the fact it’s in a glass bottle. I try to do whatever I can to keep my carbon footprint green, so I like to use the glass bottles instead of plastic bottles. And I just like the idea of drinking spring water because there is a live, electric element to it.

This is an amazing cleanser. I go off of how my skin feels after I cleanse. The iS Clinical cleansing complex doesn’t have me feeling dry and tight, as though I’m stripping my skin of everything that it needs on a daily basis. It keeps my skin moisturized and keeps some natural oils in my skin. I also like the fact that when I’m wearing makeup and I wash my face, it does a great job at removing all the product that I have on. I use it mostly at night — I like to cleanse everything before I go to bed to get a good canvas going for all of the products that I’m going to sleep in.

I wear wigs, and it’s hot outside right now. So I’ve been using this fan a lot just to keep cool. It’s really strong. Like, the setting goes up and you literally feel like you’re in front of an air conditioner. It’s a really, really great fan for just a little handheld. But I also like to have it like on my vanity for when I’m applying my setting spray and I want everything to dry down quickly, I’ll use it on a lower setting. It’s been a lifesaver for summer and making sure that I keep my situation situated.

I have a problem with mostmascaras. I don’t know if it’s my eye shape or what it is, but if I wear mascara, I look like a raccoon by the end of the day. It all transfers to the bottom of my eyes. I’m a Gaga fan, so I wanted to see what Haus Labs was giving. It’s really been a staple since I found it — I can go all day with it on and I don’t have that transfer happen. I haven’t used it much lately, just because I’ve been trying out lash extensions for the summer. But when I do go back to wearing mascara, it’s going to be Haus Labs.

I got into theLabubusvia my daughter. She introduced them to me. It’s funny because when she first showed them to me, I was like,What the hell is this little thing? It looks weird.But I was on the hunt with her and over time they grew on me. Now they make all these cute little clothes and I love seeing them and they make me happy. I feel like it’s a connection that I have with my daughter. We just bought our Labubus Halloween costumes. They are both goingas Jason Voorhees. So I’m looking forward to putting them on my bag for the Halloween season.

This is just me seeing and reading into all of the biohack-y things that you can do. I’ve heard thatred-light therapyreally helps with muscle recovery. I’m a Pilates princess, so stuff gets sore and hurts. It’s also good for anti-inflammation and your skin health, building collagen and all the amazing things. So I’ll have the panel over the table as I’m getting a lymphatic-drainage massage just to give me a little extra boost and help my body regenerate and heal on its own. It’s pretty big — if I put it over my massage table, it’ll cover my whole body from neck to ankle.

I got these a while ago. They’re a great travel shoe, a great day-to-day shoe. I just pop my feet in and out. They’re favorite for when I’m running out of the house real quick. They’re great for taking a flight too because they’re so easy to put on, get on the plane, take my shoes off —with socks, not barefoot, because that’s disgusting. I love the graphics too. Like, they’re obviouslyUGGs, with the traditional UGG look, and I like that the patches give them a more edgy, stylish feel to them. I’ve had them for a couple years now — at this point the back of mine are so broken down and worn in, it’s not cute, but I can’t throw them away.

I was introduced to the Say Less brand by a friend of mine. I was already looking into mouth taping for the potential benefits of helping your immune system and being good for your teeth and helping you breathe more easily while you sleep. I didn’t know what to choose because there were a lot of variations out there, and to be honest with you, I went with Say Less because it’s so cute. It’s in a lip shape and it comes in different skin tones, which I think is a really cool concept. I’m one of those crazy people who tracks how much REM sleep I’m getting, how much deep sleep I’m getting. I’ve been using it for about a year or so now, and I really do feel like there has been a difference in my sleep quality.

I love a clear canvas. I’m a girlie who hyperpigments, and I pick at things that I shouldn’t be picking at. Take that up with my esthetician. But I know that even in those weak moments, I can repair everything with the pigment processor. I also love the fact that, as a woman of a certain age — I’m a millennial — things are starting to show up: pores, fine lines, wrinkles, things that we don’t love. The pigment processor is capable of taking care of those things as well. So it’s just an all-around amazing product.
