For a group of people who write for an online publication, we are unusually obsessed with office supplies. Over the years, we’ve compiled gift guidesfor stationery freaks, by stationery freaks;reported extensivelyon the various notebooks and plannerswe, and our equally obsessivecontributors, rely on; brought you intel on the pens and pencilsPlum Sykes,Sofia Coppola, andJoe Bidencan’t live without; and sung the praises of everything frommagnetic tapeandweatherproof sticky notestodesk lamps, desk décor, anddesks in general(ofeverykind).

So have we finally reached our limit? Not in the slightest. In fact, this week, we’re doubling down on the stationery world in all its many fabulous forms: We’ve fully overhauled our Office 100 and will also debut a roundup of 100 pens, pencils, and markers that we’ve written about. A fountain-pen obsessive has put together a guide for anyone looking to dip their nib into that vast world for the first time. One of my colleagues will explain how having a printer will save you both time and money. And I, known around these parts as thePicky Pen Person, will deliver yet another extremely opinionated roundup, this time about my favorite things to writeon.

So crack those knuckles, throw away those dried-out pens and half-filled notebooks, and clear some space in your current work-from-home setup. Welcome to Stationery Week.
