As your intrepid reporter on all things deals, I implore you to wait for a sale before you drop hundreds of dollars on anything from Dyson. Throughout the year — and especially during Prime Day and Black Friday — you can find pretty sizable deals, usually at Amazon and Best Buy. In my experience, 20 to 25 percent off is a good, typical discount, but sometimes you’ll find things for 30 percent off (do the math and that’s usually at least $100 saved). If you see discounts over 30 percent, they’re rare and absolutely worth it.
