So hair spray is a major, major part of my life and my daily routine. I think the way I found Color Wow was word of mouth, just having it recommended to me. My biggest test is, especially during a game and if I have a tight top knot, my hair has to be slicked back and pretty clean and not falling out of place. I need a hair spray that can hold it together, and I have thick hair, so sometimes that’s really hard to find.

I’ve been using this perfume for as long as I can remember. It has hints of flowers, but not too much. I just want to smell good, not super-flowery or super-girly or anything like that. I put it on right before I walk out onto the court and again at halftime. I’ve tried to change or just have different ones for different occasions, but I can’t. I just don’t like anything else, and this makes me feel myself.

I have a little toiletry bag that I always have at Barclays Center but that also always comes on the road. In there I keep my hair spray and my brushes — because I have a regular brush and a bristle brush to make sure my hair goes back without any bumps, though I don’t know the brands; they’re just basic ones from CVS or Target. And thenSupergoop! face lotion, myVersace perfume, and this deodorant. I like the deodorant because of the cucumber … flavor? I don’t know, scent?

Never Lie by Freida McFadden
Frieda McFadden is an author that my team and I actually started reading last year withThe Housemaidseries. From there, I just keep reading her books. Without spoiling it for other people who hopefully want to read it, it’s a mystery thriller that keeps you on your toes. I do like reading, and especially when I’m traveling without my kids, I’m able to read a lot on the airplane. I can’t read in the car because I get carsick, but for whatever reason, I can read on the airplane. We actually have a team book club and we just finished readingThe Silent Patient. Usually when we’re traveling or on the way to the airport, we’ll all meet on the bus and just talk about where we are in the book and then keep it going until the end. It’s cool to hear all the different perspectives. Not everybody on the team reads the book, but yeah, we got some readers over here.

This isn’t my everyday face wash. But after events or appearances, when I have a lot of makeup on, I need something a little more oily to helpget the makeup off. My wife, Marta, laughs at me all the time because of how I struggle with getting makeup off, especiallymascara. And with this I don’t have to work that hard.

Hokku Designs Vergila Chairs
We just moved from a condo in Brooklyn to a bigger house with an actual dining room. Now it’s like,Wow, I don’t have enough furniture. So these are chairs that Marta and I both really like and are in the process of buying. My biggest tip for moving is to take your time when buying furniture. Everyone feels like the house is half done and you don’t have all the rooms figured out. But when you take your time, you can find better-quality pieces that you like. And because we have kids, we purposely didn’t choose anything white.

My son Theo, who is going to be 2 in October, has an obsession with these cars. Whenever we try to put him to bed or bring him anywhere he wants one of his cars. It’s funny because he says “cotxe,” which iscarin Catalan, the language that Marta also speaks. He is always playing with one of his Hot Wheels cars and this dinosaur ramp car holder thing that he loves because it makes a lot of noise. The biggest struggle for us right now with the Hot Wheels, though, is that he wants the doors to open and none of the doors open. Every time he’s like, “Open, open, open,” and I’m like, “Bro, I can’t.” I’ve got to find some with doors that open.

I saw thatElliehas a Labubu,so I got a Labubu, and I love it. I just got it yesterday, and I’m literally wearing it today. I’ve never worn it before, but now it’s like in the loop of my jeans. Marta’s embarrassed, but I’m excited about it.

Even before I first started working with Clif, they had a similar bar with Megan Rapinoe on it. Marta and I used to see it in the store and be like, “Oh, we’re going to eat a Megan today,” just because it’s funny. So to be able to be on a Clif Bar is really, really cool, just for people to see it in stores. Figuring out what flavor my bar would be was a whole trial experiment — like, literally I was in the room with the team to decide which flavor feels right for me. Sometimes I feel like I need a coffee. Instead, I’ll just have one of these bars. And during games, I like to grab thesalted watermelon energy blocksthat are really good too. I definitely recommend trying those during workouts as well.
