I love to cook — I always have. I’d say the most importantthings in my kitchenare a lemon squeezer and really good knives. I drink lemon water first thing in the morning and I put lemon in everything, so I’m using this every day. It’s amazing because I don’t have to catch all the seeds with my hand — I just slice a lemon, put it in, then squeeze, and it will release all the juice but catch the seeds. I never have to get my hands sticky.

My hair got reallycurlyall of a sudden around when I was, I don’t know, 11 years old. I didn’t really know what to do with it. The salon my mom would go to sold this product and I tried it out. I’ve been using it ever since. I’ve tried different products here and there for whatever reason, but this is what I always come back to. When it ain’t broke, don’t fix it — I’m very much like that. A lot of times the products made forcurly haircan make it look super crunchy. But this makes mine look really nice. I comb it in while I shower and then just let it dry — I very rarely dry with a towel. That’s my big trick for curly hair.

I’m a skin-care junkie and I love good products. A makeup artist who’s familiar with my skin introduced me toLED therapyand I use this mask on an as-needed basis. When I’m exhausted, my skin usually reflects how I feel, and this is an instant refresher. During quarantine, I started to break out a lot. I freaked out because I thought I was getting adultacne. I’ve never had any major problems with my skin before; I think it was a combination of being overdue for a facial — I needed to get one before the pandemic hit and I didn’t — and stress eating a lot of cheese and dairy the first two or three months of quarantine. I cut out the dairy and have been using this mask, and now I’ve calmed down. I don’t think I have adult acne.

A really goodknifeis like a really good pair of jeans — they are two things I think are worth spending a lot of money on. Wooden spoons or cutting boards or whatever I think you can just pick up anywhere. Butknivesfor cooking are really important. This is a really, really, really, really,reallynice knife — I have insurance on it. It was a gift from a friend who knows that I love to cook. I’ll use it to make Shakshuka and slice limes for homemade key-lime pie.

As I said, I like to try different products, especially ones without a long list of ingredients I can’t pronounce. But thisface washis another thing I always come back to. My skin is sensitive and it’s a great, gentleface wash— effective but not too harsh. I always know how my skin will react after using it.

I don’t wear makeup at all in my personal life. But when I’m working and have to be on camera, this foundation is as close to feeling like my skin is bare while still accommodating the lighting of a set. It provides adequate coverage, but it’s not too heavy — it doesn’t suffocate my skin or hide its natural texture. A little goes a long way, so it lasts a long time, too.

I didn’t have a Razr when it first came out way back when because I was very young. The phone my parents bought for me, which was an emergency phone, was a little less sophisticated — and cheaper. But my sister had the Razr and I was always envious. I would take it and she would get so annoyed, she’d kick me out of her room. I think it’s a cool phone now for the reasons that I thought it was a cool phone back then, except this time it’s a smartphone. So you’re still getting that same nostalgic Razr feeling, but you can have the internet and apps and all that good stuff. And, honestly, it’s a fashion statement.
