We write about hundreds of products each week. Here, in our version of the Sunday circular, we’ve plucked some of our recent favorites: expert-recommended essentials, life-changing stuff you didn’t know you needed, newly launched gizmos, and very good deals we uncovered while trawling through the vast online-shopping universe — including a new addition to our guide to planners, an ophthalmologist-approved eye cream, and the Goldilocks of sticky bras.

Soon after Strategist contributor Rebecca Firkser found her ideal wedding dress — one that was made of thin, raw silk — she knew another search was in order, and this time it was for a sticky bra that wouldn’t show through the dress. After trying no fewer than 12 options — some that were overly lined, too sticky, or not sticky enough — she landed on this silicone one from Gatherall that mimics skin while offering a touch of lift. “In the case of my wedding, it was especially impressive considering all the dancing and sweating — including being chair-lifted during the hora and jumping through four whole minutes of ‘Dancing On My Own,’” she writes.

“Oh my God, I own hundreds of them because I have them in all my houses. I wear it every day,” Diane von Furstenberg told us of this Eres bathing suit that she wears as a bodysuit. “I have been wearing it since I was 20 years old, since they started the company,” she adds. Her family has taken note, too: “My grandchildren used to always think it’s so hysterical that their grandmother is always ready. She’s always in a bathing suit,” Furstenberg says.

For Strategist beauty writer Krista Bennett DeMaio, workouts are nonnegotiable. As such, she has tried everything from the 5 a.m. gym-before-the-train routine to buying a membership at a gym in her office building to squeeze a workout into a packed day. And since there’s not usually enough time for a full shower, too, she fills her gym bag with beauty products — like this showerless shampoo — that help her look presentable quickly. “You spray it on, comb through to distribute, then towel-dry to absorb dirt, sweat, and oil,” she writes. “For oily-prone roots like mine, it’s a true in-between-washes game changer.”

“The only reason my children have normal bloodwork is because of what I put into their smoothies and then freeze into shark-shaped Popsicles,” author Bess Kalb told us. The key, she says, is referring to them as a treat. “I will say something like, ‘You finished your breakfast, should we have breakfast dessert?’ And they’re just eating a full serving of spinach and licking their lips,” she says.

To help even more people get ahead on their New Year’s resolution to be more organized, we added a few more options to our Best in Class guide to planners, including this one for productivity-maxers. Strategist senior writer Liza Corsillo now counts it as her planner of choice, saying, “It gives you little time buckets that are a half-hour each. It helps you with the Pomodoro Technique — chunking tasks into intervals.”

“As someone with ADHD who writes for a living, I need to block out as many distractions as possible when I’m writing,” says our tech writer Jordan McMahon. Until recently, that meant the usual tactics — turning off his Wi-Fi, leaving his phone in another room, and working in his preferred text editor — but dedicated mobile word processors like this one from Pomera are his new trick. “Its function-packed keyboard and large backlit display make it easy to see paragraphs, and the outline view helps you get a more macro view of your writing,” he adds.

To the people in her life asking “Have you considered instead opening a savings account?,” Strategist writer Katherine Gillespie says going on a safari-packed overland camping trip across southern Africa is so much better. As such, while everyone else was opening their Christmas presents, Gillespie was climbing mountains and spotting animals with these waterproof and rubberized binoculars in hand. “Mine served me very well (and were actually so essential that I paid a princely sum to have them couriered across Botswana after accidentally leaving them in a safari vehicle after one too many Windhoek Lagers).”

Though T3 co-founder and ophthalmologist Julie Chung bought this brightening eye cream on a whim, she’s been recommending it to patients looking to combat under-eye crêpiness ever since. “Because of my job, I get to look at that area of skin under the microscope a lot,” she says. “With some of my long-term patients I see every six-to-eight weeks, I have actually seen their skin get plumper over time after using this.”

It’s no secret that in recent years, everything from baseball caps to back massagers to under-eye masks have gotten the red-light treatment. 2026, it seems, has welcomed a new product to the red-light space: A showerhead. “The filter reduces chlorine, heavy metals, and microplastics while simultaneously boosting circulation across the skin and scalp for healthier, shinier hair,” says our writer Kitty Guo in this week’s roundup of new launches.

Joanna Gaines has collected turquoise jewelry for as long as she can remember, and while she’s stumbled across many pieces while traveling or pursuing antiques stores, she’s found a few on Etsy, too. “They’ve become part of my everyday look, stacked and mixed, and each piece tells a different story,” she told us.

[Editor’s note: Gaines’s bracelet is currently out of stock, but we’ll let you know when it becomes available again.]
