It’s day two ofAmazon Prime Day, meaning the Strategist staff has spent the last two days putting our prodigious deal-finding skills to use by sifting through the overwhelming number of so-called sales to find the ones that are actually worth your time. I’ve been tracking the bestsleep-related deals (including onbig-ticket items like mattresses), while my colleagues are hunting down the best discounts onhome goods, kitchen items, toys and gear forkids and babies, and more. We spend all day every day testing products, interviewing experts, and keeping an eye on prices, so the TL;DR is that we know a Very Good Deal when we see one.
I’ve sorted through hundreds of Amazon listings to find actually good deals onmattresses, mattress toppers, pillows, bedding, and other sleep stuff — that means at least 20 percent off, unless it’s an item we love that’s rarely on sale. But the deals end tonight, so if you see something you like, don’t dillydally. You can stay on top of all our Prime Day coverage by bookmarking ourPrime Day huband signing up for ournewsletter.
The Deals I Personally Think Are Best
If you’re only going to buy one or two things before Prime Day officially ends, these are the items I’d pick. I spend a lot of time price-checking various sleep products, and these are all things I don’t often see discounted this deeply. The Purple Harmony is my favorite pillow (I slept on it just last night!), and it’s about $20 cheaper than I’ve usually seen it on sale. The Hatch sunrise alarm clock is very popular (recommended by two Strategist writers andmanypeople I’ve spoken to) but expensive, and this discount makes it a little more reasonably priced. And these Loop ear plugs are loved by multiple Strategist writers too — they’re designed to be comfortable to sleep in and priced the lowest they’ve been in months.
