Welcome back to “Your Shopping Cart,” where we break out the top products that you, devoted Strategist readers, bought in droves. Think of this as the TL;DR of the Strategist. If your like-minded brethren are buying these items, maybe you’d like to as well.

The most-purchased items this month

The most-purchased items in August were determinedly summery. Tools to help prep stuff for the grill, a party game for groups, sleep masks to block out the early-rising sun, and a lipstick that gives a sheen of cherries. Also — two different kind of earplugs for those going to festivals (or just sleeping late).

This is an all-timer of a Favorite Things, IMO. Immediate 50-point bonus for not flogging her own collab with whoever, but the mental images of SJR destroying her shower drains with bleach, chopping everything she owns with pinking shears, sharpie-ing her blacks, ordering DIY Cherry Cokes, and candidly discussing why she's not dead with her doctor? Art.

This needs to go on the Approval Matrix, so Lowbrow and so Brilliant that they’ll have to put its little dot so far off the charts that it lands on the inside of the back cover.

Best. Ever. Scotch tape to hold her bra. I love her.

I've been slightly obsessed with her since seeing "Four Weddings and a Funeral" as a teenager, but never in a million years would I have guessed this goddess wore A TOE RING. People!

This is a list I imagined for Kristin Scott-Thomas. Very lovely and yes, very posh. She is a woman who doesn't lose Valentino sunglasses or $50 chapstick like the rest of us. And "I want to be her" rang in my head when I finished her divine list.

I love that she recommended the lower-cost version that she uses or used in addition to the expensive items. It's thoughtful for readers, but she also shows the progression of her career allowing her to make these big purchases, what she values over time and why she would pick one thing over another - "I keep the cheap pens everywhere because I love em, but the expensive pen I treasure has a special spot and emotional weight" - idk, that sets it apart. Cool :)

“Again, people think it’s the large moments that make a life, but it’s the culmination of all the little ones.”
My god do I love her.

If you want a slightly cheaper heated eye mask that comes in smaller quantities and a bunch of different scents, I suggest the Kao - MegRhythm Gentle Steam Eye Mask which you can find on Stylevana and other Asian beauty sites. I love them for long haul flights.

One thing I have had issue with is wind if I’m out walking. One thing that has helped tremendously is wearing windblocker glasses- available on Amazon under the name Wyndblocker. Made for motorcycle riders but work great for me! Priced at about $30 on Amazon. You to make sure the glasses have cups inside to protect your eyes- I tried several and these are the best!

And an “Ask the Strategist” on adult stuffy storage from theStrategist Daily.

“I’m an accidental-on-purpose stuffed-animal adult, which is all fun and games until my partner moves in next month! I need to come up with a storage solution that keeps the stuffed animals from ending up on the floor every night, and something marginally attractive that doesn’t involve shoving them all under my bed would be ideal. Just trying to weather the horrors by surrounding myself with cute things, but not trying to become a Display Case person.”

I think you should get another laundry basket — most should come with the right dimensions for a well-fed Squishmallow and could be shoved into a closet if a Jellycat needs a nap. I likeDusen Dusen’s; it’s printed on the inside. If you don’t mind a teddy bear’s ears sticking out from the top, maybeHay’s. From Anthropologie:thisorthat. (There’s also fruit-shaped wicker —pear, apple, andwatermelon— on the site.) Salter House sellsthese(hat tip to my editor Hilary Reid) — the large and extra-large sizes may be sold out, but you might be able to get away with the medium size. Or you could even try a trunk at the foot of your bed. (The kids’ ottomans will often be cheaper than the ones for adults.)Teen Pottery Barnhas one for only $79, whileWest Elm Kidshas another on sale for $200. And if your stuffies are ever naughty, they can go intoCrate & Barrel’szoo cage. —Ambar Pardilla, writer
