Welcome back to “Your Shopping Cart,” where we break out the top products that you, devoted Strategist readers, bought in droves. Think of this as the TL;DR of the Strategist. If your like-minded brethren are buying these items, maybe you’d like to as well.

The most-purchased items this month

It was a dry and chilly January, and lots of you were doing your best to combat the weather by purchasing moisturizers and humidifiers as the ice storm descended. Also popular: fluffy Beckham Hotel Collectionpillows(sadly, on my bed at least, incapable of drowning out the persistent clanking of prewar heating pipes) and 2026 Hobonichiplanners.

As for the more aspirational purchases that you all saved for later, our kitchen and dining writer Emma Wartzman’sbeloved wooden spatulaproved a hit. Alongside a very fancy swimsuit (although summer seems … so far away), superstrong magnets, and a new favorite ballpoint pen that was unearthed duringStationery Week.

I have not had Chips Italian Licorice in decades. Forgot all about them until now! Ordered a bag asap. Can’t say I would wear a pair of tape measure suspenders but this is what I love about this series. You just never know what you’ll find! Like a cool, old hardware store, not for everyone but definitely has something for everyone!

I love black licorice, but apparently there are health risks if you eat too much of it—extra annoying because the weird camphor-ish flavor makes it feel like it should be good for you.

Fun and weird! I hate patchouli and black licorice yet somehow think she'd be amazing to hang out with.

Uniqlo has added a "Smooth Cotton Sweater" that is 1. 100% cotton 2. Has the ribbed stitched "v" and 3. Although labeled as a sweater, it's a close-knit that looks and feels more like a French terry sweatshirt. You should try it!

I'm a big fan of the Preference line. It's made in upstate NY. I like the weekly lay out and the size I use almost fits perfectly in the Hermes leather planner holder. (Hermes refills are around $250 and Preference is about $35...)

Please consider Laurel Denise. I was a Hobonichi user for a few years, but the LD planners allow you to see the full month and your week at the same time. Game changer.

As someone under five feet tall, this is the office chair that newsletter editor Ashley Wolfgang has been looking for. “The seat is soft, plush, and extremely comfortable,” she says. “I really appreciate how the backrest hits just above my shoulders, so I never feel too overwhelmed (or that I’m a child on bring-your-kid-to-work day).”
