The second Prime Day of the year is upon us, and it’s pretty similar to the first. Back in July, I noted that there were some standard products you can always expect to see on sale, like the Laneige Glowy Lip Balm or a big bottle of Bioderma, and like clockwork, they’re available with some of the best deals you’ll see all year. I get that it’s a little early to start thinking about Christmas — we’ve barely begun talking about Halloween — but it doesn’t hurt to start thinking about gifting, especially if you’re in the market for a pricier gift, like a Dyson. It’s also a good time to grab the essentials. I maintain that Prime Day is a great time to stock up on the unsexy stuff: A few years ago, I bought five bottles of Aveeno Body Oil because they were $7 each. This year, I’ll be restocking my Bioderma micellar-water stash, which is running low because I’ve been using it every day since the previous Prime Day in July.
It’s the last day of this shopping event, which means less time to shop, but I’ve been sifting through the deals with a fine-tooth comb so you don’t have to spend precious time clicking through every link. As always, we consider a good deal to be anything more than 20 percent, so that’s the minimum amount off you’ll see featured here. I’ve made sure to include products we’ve written about before, along with things I’ve seen around that look worthwhile.
