Prime Day is three weeks away (June 23–26), but here at the Strategist, we’re already in megadeals mode. To help you get ready too, we’re sharing the 100 or so items we believe will be on sale come June 23. We’ve been covering Prime Day since 2018, so we know by now what to expect. To make this list, we racked our brains, combed through past Prime Day sales, and looked at top sellers from previous Prime Days. All items below have been on sale multiple Prime Days, if not all of them, at prices we stand behind.

Cleaning and appliances
If you need a vacuum, air purifier, carpet cleaner (including our favorite, the Bissell Little Green), or any other bigger appliance that cleans your home or air, Prime Day is the time to get one.

Clothing and accessories
The clothing section varies year to year, but one thing you can always rely on: Levi’s will be on (deep) sale in tons of styles and shades. Other reliable finds: Calvin Klein underwear, Hanes sweats, and Dr. Martens shoes. There’s also often lots of quite cheap Madewell and Gap items in the mix, and now that Everlane is on Amazon, we’re hoping we’ll see some of our Everlane favorites on sale this year too (and if we do, grab what you like while you can, just in case the brand’s sale to Shein changes things).

Sleep
The sleep deals vary greatly during Prime Day. It’s not the biggest time for mattress deals, but you can often find a couple of good ones from brands we stand by. If you’re not looking to buy an entirely new mattress, you’ll likely be able to get a good deal on a plush mattress topper. Pillows, on the other hand, abound, especially our favorite affordable ones from Beckham and Purple’s expensive-but-worth-it Harmony. And on the sheets front, a few of our favorite brands are available on Amazon and usually go on sale for the event, including Brooklinen.

Home and kitchen
Home deals are hit or miss — a lot of the things on sale come from random brands. We primarily stick to the décor section for Prime Day, where you’ll find rugs, wall accents, and mirrors, though those deals vary a lot year to year. The kitchen section is often more robust, though, and you’re certain to find good deals on air fryers, coffee makers, and other tools and appliances. And if you’re in the market for a Vitamix or a KitchenAid, Prime Day is your golden ticket to a great deal.

Tech
You will always find AirPods on sale (often for some of the best prices we ever see) during Prime Day, and AirTags are usually down to their lowest price ever — both are Strategist best sellers every year. There’s also usually at least one Kindle on sale, though the model that gets discounted varies; I’ve included the two we’ve seen in recent years. And plenty of other big-ticket tech, such as Bluetooth speakers and digital picture frames, and cheaper tech accessories, like chargers, will be discounted too.

Travel and outdoors
Prime Day happens in the midst of summer travel and outdoors fun, meaning there are lots of deals for both to be found, from luggage and portable chargers to insect repellents and pool towels. Last year, following Away’s launch on Amazon, we also saw a few good deals on the brand’s luggage and travel accessories, and I suspect we’ll see the same this year as well.

Kids and babies
Tons of toys, kids’ clothes (particularly shoes), and back-to-school items are discounted for Prime Day. There’s often a lot of variation in what exactly is discounted year to year, but some top sellers from Prime Days past include one of our favorite lunch boxes, the Bentgo; everyone’s favorite kids’ shoes, Natives; and a classic Squishmallow. And you’ll always find some sets of Magna-Tiles and various Melissa & Doug toys on sale.

The wild cards
Every year, some of the best deals are on new items that we’ve never seen featured before. A lot of these are fashion deals from brands whose offerings change year to year. Others are big discounts we hope to see again this year, like a half-off Moccamaster or over-half-off Frame TV.
