Another long weekend has arrived, and you know where I’ll be until it arrives: digging around the internet’s sales bins for the best deals for the Fourth of July. Now the Fourth has arrived, the sales have ramped up to their peak. You’ll find double discounts atAnthropologie, up to 60 percent offAlex Millstaples, and a handful of best-in-class beauty products with rare deals atSephora. And as per usual, we’re keeping tabs on all thebest mattresses on salefor the holiday.
I’ve broken out the sales I’ve found so far into a few categories. Brands are listed alphabetically below their respective categories, so you can shop at the retailer of your choice. We’ll be updating this post with new deals as they go live, so check back regularly.

Ulta’s July Fourth sale is no longer active, so we took those products out. Everything else is still available and, most importantly, still on sale.
Deals I personally think are the best
An Alex Mill sale is almost always worth shopping, and right now, dozens of items are up to 60 percent off. For something on-theme, go with theEmmy Cami top, which is just $50. Calpak, maker of some of our favorite travel bags, is also taking up to 60 percent off, making theTerra backpack( which comes in nine colors) $77. And at Brooklinen, Strategist readers can get 25 percent off sitewide with the code STRAT25 (5 percent steeper than the brand’s current promotion). That applies to the brand’s collaboration with Kule, which is already discounted, making these stripedbath towelsless than $25 each.
Fashion
Many of the sales below aretechnicallycalled summer sales or end-of-season sales, but the deals are very good and most last through the Fourth of July, so I’m counting them. J.Crew and Banana Republic Factory have some truly exceptional deals with discounts over 80 percent off and shorts, swimsuits, and tops as cheap as $12.
Alex Mill — home to many of our favoritesweaters,cardigans, andtees— now has a wide selection of summer clothing up to 60 percent off. I recommend grabbing lots of linen pieces for these warm-weather months.
Anthropologie is offering an extra 50 percent off its sale section, which is the best discount the brand offers. Most of the deals are from Anthropologie’s in-house brands.
Select styles are up to 60 percent off at Banana Republic’sSummer Sale, and some items are an extra 20 percent off at checkout. Size availability varies a lot, but there are some good deals to be found on airy cotton pants, linen dresses, and more.
For even bigger discounts, though, head to Banana Republic Factory. Everything isat leasthalf off, and some items are up to 70 percent off. But you also get an extra 20 percent off at checkout, meaning nearly everything on the site is at least 60 percent off total.

Grab a pair or two of “the most comfortable sandals” while they’re at least 20 percent off for Camper’s latest sale (and sign up for emails to get an extra 10 percent off). Senior editor Ailbhe Malone likes theOrugas, which she has now purchased twice. Senior writer Lauren Ro has been testing theKorasand loves their versatility. The deals aresteepat J.Crew’s end-of-season sale.Women’s sale itemsare up to an extra 70 percent off andmen’s sale itemsare up to an extra 60 percent off with code EXTRA, whilecashmere is up to 40 percent off(a good and rare deal). Just note that many of the sale-on-sale items are final sale, so make sure you know your size before you buy.
Kule, the brand behind some of our favoritestriped topsand bottoms, is taking an extra 15 percent off sale items, for up to 40 percent off total.
Levi’s is running two promotions for the Fourth of July: Plenty of styles are up to 50 percent off, or you can buy two pairs of select jeans (like ourbest jeansoverall) and get 30 percent off. No promo codes required.
Lisa Says Gah maintains a nice sale section year round, but the retailer just dropped a sample sale full of new (and very steep) discounts of up to 70 percent off. Plus, you can get an extra 20 percent off when you buy two or more items. I’ve got my eyes on the summery clothing and accessories. Just note that all sales are final.

Madewell is taking up to 60 percent off sale styles with code SUMMERTIME for its end-of-season sale. Thewomen’s sectionis better than themen’s, per usual, but it’s still worth digging through each for $35 shorts and $50 collared shirts.

Through July 6, Uniqlo is discounting a variety of summer clothing, and the stock is decent. May I suggest a pair of cotton easy shorts (now just $20),Scarlett Johansson’s favorite built-in-bra tank for summer (also $20), or a classic cotton tee (for $15)?
Urban Outfitters’ sale section is an extra 40 percent off for a limited time. I found a nice pair of summer shorts for as little as $12 and pastel New Balance 9060s for half off.
Now’s the time to buy the Vagabonds you’ve been eyeing. The Hillary ballet flat (a greatin-between-season shoe)and more quality footwear and accessories are up to 40 percent off for a limited time.
Summer styles are up to 50 percent off at Zappos right now; discounts tend to vary by color.
Beauty
Just two beauty sales left, but they’re good: A pleasantly surprising sale at Sephora, and a Soko Glam sale featuring tons of our K-beauty favorites.
Sephora’s summer deals are live with select beauty products up to 50 percent off. The best deals right now are in the skin-care department. Selectface moisturizers, many of which are Strategist favorites, are 20 percent off until July 8.
Acurated selectionof (over 300) summery products is 20 percent off at Soko Glam through July 7. Note that the discount will show up once products are added to your cart.
Home
The home section already has some good deals to choose from, including Article and the Company Store. I’ve also included some standout picks from ourFourth of July mattress-salesroundup below.
AllModern just discounted hundreds of items up to 60 percent for the Fourth. You’ll find our best (less expensive)trash canon sale for 26 percent off, along with some cozy chairs and unique table lamps.
Anthropologie’s sale-on-sale applies to its home section as well, where you’ll find furniture, bedding, home décor, and more. Other home goods (newer markdowns, it looks like) also just got discounted up to 40 percent off for another one of the retailer’s sales.
Article is offering up to 40 percent off hundreds of furnishings through July 6 — including, for the first time (I believe), furniture bundles.
Everything at Brooklinen — home to “exceptionally fluffy”robes, “extremely thick and sumptuous”bath towels, and, of course, some of our favoritesheets— is 25 percent off for Strategist readers with the code STRAT25, and bundle savings are up to 50 percent off.

It’s really just Best Buy here, but its deals are good and aplenty.
Best Buy is always a hot spot for tech deals during holiday weekends. This year, I spotted a few of the usual suspects with good discounts — Dysonvacuumsand LGTVs— but was surprised to see our best overallrobot vacuumfor half off, too. There’s also a nice selection of major appliances on sale, like our favorite energy-savingrefrigerator.
Travel and outdoors
Just two sales are live right now (at Calpak and REI, and they’re quite good!), but I’m sure many more will be coming soon — it is prime vacation time, after all.
This weekend, I’d shop the shoes and accessories section at Backcountry. New markdowns are up to 40 percent off at its Fourth of July sale until July 7, including lots ofcomfortable sandalsfrom Chaco, a brand that many Strategist editors swear by.
Calpak’s sale, which lasts through July 9, is better than its one for Memorial Day. A selection of luggage and packing accessories is up to 60 percent off, including the packing cubes we like forflying carry-on only.
New markdowns are up to 50 percent off until July 7 for REI’s Fourth of July sale — including a Best in Classcarry-on backpackand a handful of trendyKeens.
