It gets complicated fishing for the right clothes, so I have a handful of designers that are my go-tos. I like clothes to look good on me, but it’s also nice to find a designer that makes sense for my lifestyle. I’m a big Buck Mason fan, because it fits my lifestyle, is really well made, and always seems to fit me off the shelf. I’ve been wearing them since Courtney, who helps me with my wardrobe, turned me onto them years ago. Now I have theirT-shirtsin every single color. I wear them all the time. This one has a bit of an uneven edge on the bottom that I like.

I’ve had this thing for a long time. Filson is great quality, feels like they last forever, but they look cool too. Again, this was something that Courtney, my wardrobe person found for me years ago. I think I was carrying abackpackat that point, and she was like, “I can’t have this. I need to get you a cooler bag.” She got me this, and it’s great. It has the right amount of compartments for someone like me who usually has a bunch of things that I’m carrying around. The one I have is an olive-green color that goes with basically everything I wear. It ticks all the boxes.

I’m truly a guy’s guy, so getting me to do things for my skin and lips that I should be doing consistently doesn’t come naturally to me. Although, I am doing it more and more. Dahlia, who has been doing my grooming for television for about 15 years, turned me on to the right moisturizer for my skin and this lip balm. I love that this is olive-oil based. It’s easy. I use it every day.

Tinned fish has been very, very popular in places like Spain and Portugal. I like that it’s become a thing in this country in the last few years. I was just talking to my friend Katie Lee about why it’s so great. I mentioned that I always walk by her house in the West Village, and she was like, “Just come knock on my door next time you’re around.” I asked her, “What’s your go-to thing to feed people who stop by unannounced, so to speak?” And that’s what I have tinned fish for. It’s obviously very shelf stable, the quality is amazing if you pick the right brand, and it’s always satisfying to people. I love the sardines with the hot peppers in it because it has tons of flavor. I like the saltiness and the olive oil with the chilis. You can toast some bread or put out some crackers, open some tin fish, pour somebody a glass of wine, and they’re fine.

I always have stacks of this in my refrigerator. Obviously hydration is something that’s important for all of us. I work out all the time, so I constantly need hydration. I’m always either walking the city or running the city. Of course, I can just drink water for hydration, but I just love coconuts. It’s one of my favorite flavors. I eat coconut yogurt every morning, I use coconut cashew milk for my coffee, and I drink coconut water when I’m on the go. This is just the one I always reach for.

You can never go wrong. They’ll never go out of style. Any time I’m out wearing them, I always get a good smile. It’s almost like, “Okay, that was cool.” They’re never not going to be cool. They’re not expensive either. I can have a handful of pairs of them. If they get too dirty, I can move on to the next one and it’s not going to break the bank. And they basically go with everything.

I’m a Paul Smith fan. It’s one of the designers I wear a lot in terms of suits and formal wear. I just bought my second pair while I was in the Heathrow Airport. It’s an amazing shopping hub and they have a Paul Smith store. I’ve had these in a suede brown color for about 15 years, but Courtney wouldn’t let me wear them for a while. About six or so months ago, she’s like, “You can pull your loafers back out. They’re back in.” So while I was at the airport, I bought a second pair. I’ve been wearing them a ton. They’re great. I wear them with jeans, chinos. They just work.

I’ve been doing Pilates for about six years on an ongoing basis. I’ve had the same Pilates instructor at Equinox, and she’s amazing. As a chef, I’ve been standing over a cutting board for 35 years, literally hunched over. One of the things Pilates has done for me is it’s actually straightened me up a lot. I almost feel like I’ve gained an inch and a half in height. All the work it’s done on my spine has been incredibly fruitful. I started using thisspine correctorwithin my Pilates sessions, and it is one of the best feelings. It really corrects your spine as you’re going through movements, and it’s amazing. I have this one from Peak, which is a pretty high-end Pilates company, but there are plenty out there that are less expensive and probably just as good.

I’ve been acat guymy whole life; they’re incredibly important to me. I could never figure out what to feed them and what brand of food to buy, so I basically did what I always do when I have something to figure out: I did it myself. I started formulating about six years ago and launched Made by Nacho, inspired by a cat I had named Nacho, a little over four years ago. These lickable mousse treats have become sort of our calling cards to the company. My cat Canelo, who’s on the screen right now, knows when the mousse is out. It’s not that I didn’t feed him, but as soon as he sees me pull the treats out, he goes insane.
