What Liza Koshy Can’t Live Without

I turn my iced coffee into a 30-ounce pint of ice cream, and I house it every single morning. It’s delicious. I’ll also throw some almond-milk creamer,protein powder, and whatever fruit of choice in it. Anything can be an ice-cream consistency with theNinja Creami. I mean anything. I have taken tartar sauce and turned it into ice cream. I live for this thing. Like I said, I eat ice cream for breakfast, and sometimes lunch and dinner. Recently, I’ve been trying to mimic Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia ice cream. It’s a nice way to wind down since cherries have melatonin in them. If you eat like 30 of them, you will pass out. And I have done that thanks to my Ninja Creami and eating a pint of 45 cherries.

This is mypre-workout, my boost at 5 p.m., my pregame before I go out for a night with the girls. It literally is a half a cup of coffee, so 50 milligrams of caffeine, in a little bite-size piece of chocolate. It comes in a bunch of different flavors: There’s a Reese’s knockoff flavor, cookies and cream, dark chocolate with no added sugar, milk chocolate with no added sugar for my diabetic-ass family. I pass ’em out like hotcakes. People question if it’s just caffeine because of how passionate and excited I am. And it is just caffeine, but it gives you that boost. It’s great for late-night shoots. I literally just wrapped a film here in New York, and that was my wrap gift. All the PAs flocked to me. They know I got the goods.

I just finished filmingThe Man With the Bag, which is a Christmas movie for Amazon Studios. On that set, I was ordering an absurd amount of ketchup with my eggs (such a privilege and luxury nowadays). I love ketchup and eggs. As my wrap gift, I was given two bottles of Heinz ketchup. I’m incredibly passionate about the amount of ketchup I ingest. And yes, I did put it in my Ninja Creami, and it is delicious as ice cream. I’m just saying: Heinz ketchup ice cubes in a Bloody Mary.

I check everything on this app — food, skin care, makeup, everything. It lets you scan products and shows the health impacts it’ll have on you. I’ve been using it for about the past year now consistently. I had known of it before, but I think I was living in denial of American products. Now I scan just about everything that has a barcode, and I’ve found my skin-care and food staples. There should be a high standard of what should be going on your skin or in your body, and Yuka helps me do that.

I love Weekend by Max Mara. They do a lot of collaborations with creatives in entirely different industries that I think are so fun and experimental. They just did one, I think, withAshley ParkfromEmily in Paristhat I enjoyed. I have this cutesweaterthat’s this deep, rich spice-toned auburn color that I love. I am just attracted to anything that looks like a spice cabinet. It’s a testament to my Indian roots. It’s also so warm and cozy. We’re still coming out of hibernation in New York. It’s like 55 degrees today, but 80 yesterday and raining. That emergence into summer requires a sweater that you can throw on or tie around your waist, and that is my Max Mara sweater.

I’m a dancer, and feeling light on my feet is so important to me, especially with how much I’m walking now in New York. For context, I moved to New York about three and a half months ago. It’s been a dream thus far. And also hell on wheels, but I love it. I walk so much that I need support, but I also need something that doesn’t squeeze or feel heavy on my foot. These little Tokyo Adidassneakersare so thin on the bottom but have really nice arch support for my chapati feet. (Chapati is like a flat tortilla in Indian cuisine, and that’s what we call it in my family.) I’m able to dance in them super freely, too. They’ve got nice little grippers. They’re so chic and simple and fly. Right now, I have a cream one with the black classic stripes. I just ordered another pair that’s cheetah print because cheetah print is neutral.

There was a phase in makeup when I was growing up where everyone was using weird creams asmakeup primer. It was a very universal experience, and I’m so glad as a society we’re beyond that. I’ve been using Supergoop!’s Unseen Sunscreen as my makeup primer for years now, and it protects your skin, keeps your makeup in place, and looks glowy and good. They were also the first brand for me that created something without a white cast. As a brown woman, a purple undertone is incorrect. And when I’m not wearing makeup, I use theirGlowscreen.
