The long weekend is here, and I’ve spent the past week digging around the internet’s sales bins for the best deals for the Fourth of July. The fashion sales are vast, from wardrobe staples at Alex Mill for up to 60 percent off to double discounts at Anthropologie and Banana Republic Factory. There are also plenty of excellent discounts in the home and travel categories — good news if you’re looking for new patio seating or camping gear. And as per usual, we’re keeping tabs on all the best mattresses on sale.
I’ve broken out the sales I’ve found so far into a few categories. Brands are listed alphabetically below their respective categories so you can shop at the retailer of your choice. As always, make sure to sign up for the Strategist Deal Freaks Daily newsletter to receive each day’s best deals in your inbox (as well as sales just for newsletter subscribers).
Updated on July 3, 2026:
I price and stock-checked all the products featured, to make sure the sales are still good.

Helen Kaminski, maker of one of our favorite sun hats, has a great archive sale going on right now. A lot of the hats are $99, which is still expensive but much better than their original price tags. Eva Lee, the former head of newsroom operations at BuzzFeed News, has had hers for close to 10 years. She says it’s worth the price because “it gets better with wear and holds its shape thanks to the raffia, which is really soft and flexible.”

During Keen Days, the brand’s selection of waterproof sandals is up to 35 percent off. Deals writer Martha Tuber particularly likes the Uneeks, which almost never go on sale, particularly in neutral colors, but you can’t go wrong with the Newport H2s — last year’s sandal of the summer.
The iconic striped shirts are on sale (not in every colorway, but plenty of nice ones are 40 percent off), as are a bunch of other summer pieces.
Take up to 70 percent off sitewide for the Lands’ End summer sale. There are lots of classic summer essentials, from swim trunks to sun hats, plus a cute puffy tote for just $20.
