The lip balm that lasts and lasts

I mean, obviously as athletes, we are playing, we’re working out, we’re doing a lot of traveling and moving around and talking a lot. So no matter what I’m wearing, I can’t do chapped lips. One of my teammates put me onto this lip balm. We are always looking for good lip stuff; sometimes it’s just Vaseline. But this one is great. It helps prevent cracks, and it lasts a long time. You don’t have to reapply as often. I can make it through a whole practice without having to reapply. So that’s the one I keep on me.
The portable charger that keeps her plugged in

I have little ones who are 3 and 7 years old, and they bring their iPads on the plane when we travel. So I always pack this portable charger for any devices that run out of power where we don’t have access to a plug. It has built-in USB and USB-C, and once it’s charged up, it can last through the entire day. As a professional athlete, if I’m not playing or practicing or working out, I’m doing a lot of business on my phone. So I always keep this charger charged and with me. It just fits the lifestyle.
The gum she chews on and off the court

My favorite flavor of Orbit gum is sweet mint, the light-green one;spearmintisn’t bad either. I like themints, too. I chew gum on and off the court because I do a lot of talking, especially as a point guard, so I don’t want my breath to be on fire, you know? And it’s really important, between working out and playing and everything else, to help keep my mouth from getting dry or dried out. This is my go-to. Also I’m a coffee drinker, so it’s nice to pop one in for a refresh.
Mommy-and-me hair ties

Goody Ouchless 4mm Elastic Hair Ties
My daughter and I both use Goody hair ties. I always have one. But you know how hair ties disappear. I like to wear my hair down and out when I’m not on the floor, but obviously it’s always easier to put it up when I’m working out and moving. Goody has all different types of elastics, if you like the thinner ones or the thicker ones. For my daughter, I might get the smaller, thinner ones, but for me I like these thicker ones.
Moisturizer for the whole team (and the whole family)

CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion
When you are showering two or three times a day, you have to stay moisturized. It’s so important for skin health. And it has become a rite of passage for me to moisturize my kids’ faces and arms and get ’em all greased up before they go out the door. CeraVe is the best. We have it in the locker rooms at theWintrust Arena, and I have it in my bag at all times. If I’m at home, I’ll mix it with another moisturizer likeAquaphorto make it a little thicker. Or for the kids, I’ll mix it withAveeno eczema cream. Sometimes they get dry, so I’ll put the mix behind the knees, the elbows, the creases under the neck, and the face. Then you don’t have to reapply as often.
The hand sanitizer she carries everywhere

Purell Naturals Gel
Nowadays, you can never sanitize too much. I travel with little kids who have to touch everything, and I need to try to stay as healthy as I can. I try not to get sick from the surfaces I touch but also with moving around in public areas. Wanna make sure, you know, we get on those planes, that my kids’ hands stay sanitized too. So we can never have enough of that. I kind of just do a main one and keep it with me and distribute from there. I don’t trust them to take care of it on their own yet.
The snacks that make it easier to travel with kids
I love theGoGo Squeez applesauce pouchesbecause they’re easy to grab and pack for the plane. I’ve learned that if you give your kid one of those as soon as the wheels go up, they suck on it and it kind of pops their ears a little bit. And then the same on the way down, just like a little applesauce or yogurt pouch. I also keepUncrustablesandWelch’s Fruit Snackson me because they are small and grabbable and my kids love them.
And the activity books that keep them busy in-flight

My kids likePaint by Stickerbooks, and I like that they use their fingers to peel so they’re working on their fine-motor skills. They’re matching the numbers, they’re matching words. That keeps ’em pretty busy on the plane.
The backup socks she packs in her carry-on

I always have an extra change of socks and some backup undergarments with me. I love these multipacks of Puma socks that are soft and comfortable and stay up.
