What Adwoa Aboah Can’t Live Without

I don’t like to be cold. If my neck is cold or I don’t have something around me, then that is just a nightmare. I have to have a hood and a scarf-slash-blanket. Think, like, Lenny Kravitz. That’s how big my scarf has to be. I go between a few because they get given to me. It’s like,What weird blanket is Adwoa wearing today?

Benetint all the way. It always does what it’s supposed to do. It’s so good. I’ve been using it on and off since Dream Matte Mousse was around. Centuries. I recently rediscovered it because I like to look very flushed and it’s an easy go-to. It’s very low maintenance. You can always find it at the airport. I’m not ordering Benetint on the internet or going to the Benefit store. The fact that I’m walking through and I can get it is very easy to me.

It smells so good. I’m in a constant battle with germaphobia. Especially now having a child, I don’t wanna put that on her. I’m really relaxing into this idea that she’s going to have to touch everything all the time.

If I had to take one thing, this is what I’d take. It’s actually nipple cream, but I always have a glossy lid and I always have moisturized lips and this is what I use. I put it on my eyelid. I put it on my cheek. You don’t even need makeup if you have this. And if you can put it on your nipple, you can put it on your face.

They’re so good for when you just need that moisture back in. You look like a child. You put one on and you literally look five. I put one of those on and I look like a fetus. I love a face mask. I used to love a lot of 111Skin. Also the Mediheal ones. A hundred percent hyaluronic acid. Those are banging.

Botox in a bottle. It really is. It makes you look fresh and fetal. I mix it with C E Ferulic with P-Tox in the morning and then with theSkinCeuticals redness neutralizer.

The concept of not exfoliating in the shower is something that I don’t understand. I must scrub at all times. And this is the only scrub that I’ll use. There are many sites where you can get them, but if you’re on the continent and find one in the market, better. My dad brings them for me from Ghana.

It’s just so good. I like Stretch and Lean. It’s nice because it’s moisturizing. You know how some lip liner feels a bit chalky and dry and drags your lip? This one glides.

I’m obsessed with it right now. The extra-spicy one. I put it on everything. It’s got the right amount of crisp.

I’m wearing some bougie pajamas at the moment from this shop called Anderson & Sheppard. It’s a men’s tailoring shop. My boyfriend’s like, “Wow, you look sexy in those old man pajamas.”But they’re so good. They did this collaboration with George Cortina, and they do bright pink ones, purple ones. Really good colors. I like to look like Scrooge in my nightshirt.

I would go to Charvet with my mom and dad on trips to Paris, but I couldn’t afford to buy any. When I got older I started buying the slippers. Anderson Shepherd does an amazing slipper too. I had the leopard-print ones that are good; they’ve got an actual sole. The Charvet ones are for inside, but I wear mine out. I’m always trying to wear a different shoe, but they look good with everything that I wanna wear. I should really get them soled. That would probably be good.

It’s very slinky. You know how sometimes hoodies can make you look quite bulky? There’s something about this waffle one. My mom would argue that it doesn’t look formal, but I think as far as hoodies go, it does. It’s a bit more elevated.

I’m very particular. I’m a Palmer’s cocoa-butter gal, which is really full of all the chemicals, but I love it. That’s what I’ve always used. It moisturizes me; I don’t feel itchy. It’s perfect. The Uni body oil does the same thing. It doesn’t just sit on the skin. You’ve got a glow as well as being very moisturized. It also smells delicious.
