If you’re like us, you’ve probably wondered what everyday stuff famous people add to their carts — likehair sprayor anelectric toothbrush. We asked Nicky Hilton — who just released acollection of children’s clothing with La Coqueta— about the things her three kids (who are currently 3 and a half, 8, and 9) can’t live without.
Extremely soft PJs

They are the softest pajamas ever. My kids never want to take them off. And they have the most playful prints. They always have new patterns and every collab you can think of.
The lip balm her girls like to steal

All of the tween girls seem to love these lip balms. My girls are 8 and 9; perhaps it makes them feel grown-up. They’re constantly swiping them out of my purse. They like the Pink Sugar color.
The best bedazzling sets

This is one of my favorite brands. It’s a small business. My girls are obsessed with bedazzling: Their birthday this past year was a bedazzling party, where friends came over and they bedazzled and charmed jewelry boxes, mirrors, brushes. Live Rainbowfully always has the most fun things that are very topical, too. So they’ll have a Taylor Swift brush or a Labubu mirror. I saw on the website the other day that they now have a Mahjong jewelry box. It’s all so fun and sparkly.
Collect-them-all hand sanitzers

Oh my God, Touchland. Do you know about this Touchland rage with these little girls? It’s so popular. My 8-year-old goes to school with ten Touchlands in her bag. I think it’s the sleek, slim design and the fun different flavors. When I did that bedazzling birthday party, I got mini-Touchlands and they charmed them. The kids collect them, they trade them. I mean, as a parent, I’m not mad at it, as I’m a bit of a germophobe myself. I love my Touchland too. They like the mango and rosewater scents.
An epidemic of Jellycats

Both of my daughters, their entire beds are Jellycats. I have not seen an obsession like this since Beanie Babies. It’s a full-on epidemic. My daughters have dragged me to all the pop-ups. Over Christmas, we went to the ski chalet pop-up at the Grove, we went in Paris, we went in New York City to theFAO Schwartz diner. And since we’ve been in London, we’ve been to the Selfridges pop-up. The kids go crazy over them. My favorites are the foods. One of my daughters got the flower pot and the other one loves thepeach. One of them just got the littlePing-Pong paddle, too.
Backpacks that come with charms

I grew up with a Kipling mini-backpack. I had my Kipling backpack and my Kate Spade, and those were my designer bags. Now my girls love Kipling. They have the little weekend duffle and the backpack for school. They love anything with dangling charms.
The tracksuit that mom used to wear

It’s so funny how history repeats itself. Now my children are wearing Juicy Couture velour tracksuits. Athleisure seems to be all the rage, and they love a cute sweatsuit. I still have some of them.
Detangler with a beachy scent

My girls always seem to have knots in their hair. This spray is the perfect detangler. They love the beachy scent. We use it after a bath to brush their hair out before bed and then put it in a braid.

I grew up withPetit BateauT-shirts and undershirts. I just love that they’re soft, easy, perfect for every day, great for layering under everything. I buy them in packs. They’re easy.
Easter-ready party dresses

La Coqueta is the prettiest, most elegant children’s brand — I’ve been a customer for many years. So many brands are too trend-driven, or the party dresses are itchy and uncomfortable. La Coqueta is children’s clothes that are meant for children. It’s wearable with that pretty European charm.
I connected with the founder, Celia Muñoz, and we thought it would be so much fun tocollaborate. Growing up, all of the holidays in my family were very big deals and my sister and I were always dressed up in matching party dresses. This collection is a spring collection, and I already joked with my husband that I’ve got all of myEasterdresses covered. The collection has all of my favorite things: cotton-candy colors and bows and very feminine details. I love this Lily-Grace dress. Blue is my favorite color, and we had an artist do the most incredible artwork. The inspiration was Easter, spring, and florals — very girly. And all of the smocking is hand-done.
