The more interested I’ve become in design, the more I’ve learned the importance of lighting. I love how hotels always feel so luxurious. In part, that’s because every single hotel room has like 7,000 different lamps. I particularly love when a reading light is installed next to the bed — that’s just so classy and gives the hotel extra points. And yet we can’t always be somewhere that has that classy, fitted, custom reading light. So sometimes you need one you can travel with. I’ve been using this reading light for years now, and I’ve tried other reading lights, but this is the best one. It has a dimmer function, so you just clip it onto your book and dim the light. Ironically, after I put this on my list, I forgot it at a hotel, and was devastated, and did beg the hotel to ship it back to me.

A lacrosse ball is denser and harder than a tennis ball and really lends itself to rolling out muscles on your back, neck, head, and under your feet. I mean a tennis ball — a flimsy weakling — could just deflate underneath the touch, and you can’t trust that. A lacrosse ball isn’t going anywhere and can really give you that resistance that you need. This was recommended to me by a chiropractor, and I thought,Wow, good. She gave me a lacrosse ball. She’s so generous. Little did I know lacrosse balls cost like $1. And I’ll be honest — I find this, for some reason, a little embarrassing. Even the term self-massage. I’m like,Can I find a better way to say that that doesn’t sound like I’m weird? And yet I know we all have these knots. Our fascia is all bundled up, and rolling it out helps.
Editor’s note: Ramos doesn’t have a specific lacrosse ball brand that she likes, so we linked to an NCAA-certified version.

I need a spray. Who’s gonna apply the sunscreen lotion all over your body? There’s too much surface area to hit. Am I really going to do that if I’m going out for a walk? And then you’re supposed to reapply? I think that’s a little known, much ignored fact about sunscreen — that you can’t just set it and forget it. It’s allegedly supposed to be reapplied every like two hours, so you need something easy-breezy, like a spray.
I was reminded of the versatility of this sunscreen when the drag queen Kandy Muse told her fans that the way she gets her skin all glossy and sexy and gorgeous was with this very sunscreen spray. I have tried using it at night to be sexy and glossy, but I need a little bit more education.

A mom friend of mine introduced me to this product, and it simply worked. At first I thought to myself,Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater Stain Treater spray … I don’t think so. Pass.It just seemed a little uncool. Well, it works. I need to use this product on the, oh,veryinfrequent occasion that, perhaps, something untoward happens and my clothes need to be treated. I guess it should be noted that it doesn’t work on all materials, but it works on most of them. It worked on my bathrobe, which I got from theOjai Valley Inn and Spa. It’s just all white and a plusher terrycloth. Well, simply, I don’t know how it happened, but there were some coffee marks on the bathrobe. I mean, I was aghast, but Miss Mouth’s Messy Eater spray did the trick.

I have never counted, but I have journals from almost every year of my life. I have some that I got at LAX that were Taylor Swift Red Tour composition books. Spiral notebooks, they’ll get the job done, for sure, but if these are going to stand the test of time, they need a bit more heft to them. The spiral notebook is to the Amelia Braga composition book as the tennis ball is to the lacrosse ball. This notebook is sturdy. You can depend on it. It comes in gorgeous colors and is lined beautifully. I was gifted three or four of them for my birthday one year. I did fill all of them up. Since they are hard to come by, I always like to stop into a little stationery store whenever I stumble upon one and grab a couple.
Editor’s note: Since Emilio Braga lists all prices in euros, we’ve made an approximate conversion to U.S. dollars.

For a variety of reasons, whether I am writing at home or working on set, I do find that I need to have a constant ability to guzzle drinks to enjoy the time passing. I’m a huge fan of treats, but when we’re working long hours and just living life, our treats cannot always be candy and sometimes they need to be beverages.
I don’t call it a Corksicle. I call it a tumbler. Okay? Although I will say I learned that it’s only dishwasher safe in the top drawer of the dishwasher, which was very scary to learn because it’s quite tall and I had been placing it in the bottom shelf of my dishwasher. I recently noticed that the enamel on the straw is a bit scuffed. So I do think I need to order a replacement because I’m scared of the microplastics. But, of course, I’ve probably already destroyed my life by putting the cup in the bottom shelf of the dishwasher for as long as I did.

I purchased these in March, I believe, and I’ve been clomping around in them since they arrived. They fit perfectly. They’re comfortable. I was influenced by Chloë Sevigny’s campaign for the brand. I thought about getting them in black and white, but I exercised restraint and only got the black pair. They’re gorgeous. A friend did send a paparazzi photo of Zendaya hiking in them as well. So me, Chloë, and Zendaya, we all wear these.

I think I saw these on Ssense and found them delightful and they made me laugh. They do tend to be quite the conversation starters. People go, “Hahaha. What does your bag say? Oh my gosh, ‘God’s Favorite,’ that’s so funny.” It’s just so irreverent and fun. I havethe Twilight bag, and I had thelavender “They Don’t Make Statues of Critics” bag, too. I find their designs to be, yes, irreverent, but also quite profound, because I have to remind myself as an artist that it is not my job to judge myself or my work, and that may be a critic’s job, but they don’t build statues of critics.

I’ve always been a candy aficionado. The only bulk candy store we had was Dylan’s Candy Bar or Sugar Factory, which I was very much here for, but I just think the quality is better at the Swedish candy store. And perhaps more importantly, their candy is more sour. They have sour skulls that will make you pucker your face up. And I just think it tastes better.
I didn’t know about BonBon, but my mother-in-law knows that I love candy and she used to send me Licorice.com candy for my birthday every year. I was in New York for my birthday this year, and she sent me BonBon and the packaging was gorgeous and the variety was to die for.

I’ve been friends with Rachel for many years, and I’ve modeled for her brand and been a fan of hers for quite some time. She makes other gorgeous pajamas, but I just personally am very obsessed with the Budde PJ set. It’s in this toile print, it’s cotton, it’s a Henley baby tank, and I’ve worn it so many times for so long that the elastic waistband is starting to stretch. I’ve had silk pajamas, and I don’t know how people do that because, as we’ve established, I am really dainty and perfect but I find myself sweating in a silk pajama and that’s concerning. I wear either a T-shirt that is so big that it’s a dress or exactly what I’ve described here. That’s the thing. I didn’t know what I needed in a pajama until I experienced these pajamas.
