Prime Day begins tomorrow, Tuesday, June 23, and runs through Friday, June 26. If you just can’t wait, you can start building your shopping cart today: we’ve rounded up what we think will be on sale once Prime Day arrives, and as per usual, there are also a few early deals afoot.
A lot of these so-called “early Prime deals” are things that were already on sale, now with new marketing. But I’ve gone through everything with a fine-tooth comb and found the discounts that are actually worth your time if you’d like to shop before the event begins. Most of my picks are things we’ve written about before on the Strategist and deals that I think are worth getting now (versus waiting for a better deal later). And a lot are things you’ll be able to get a lot of use from this summer, from a mosquito repeller to Levi’s jorts.

Prime Day is a great time to restock your beauty cabinet. Our best overall face wash is now $10. “It’s nothing fancy,” our beauty writer says, but it does the job it’s meant to do efficiently.

Another good deal from our favorite drugstore beauty brand, our best overall night cream is now over 30 percent off. It checks all of writer Tembe Denton-Hurst’s boxes for what a good night cream has: a rich texture, nourishing ingredients, and lots of moisture. “I used this one for a few weeks, and in that time I noticed that I woke up with soft, hydrated skin,” she says.

Our pick for the best affordable blow-dryer brush has long been the Revlon One-Step. It’s best for those with thick, curly, or coarse hair, as it gets quite hot (which can be too much for finer hair). It goes on sale somewhat frequently, so you should never buy it full price.

Women’s Fashion

And on the summer denim front, the shorts version of Levi’s popular Cinch Baggy Jean (which came out in 2025) is almost half off. They’re just the right length — they hit right at the mid-thigh, as their name suggests — and they manage to be loose-fitting without waist-gapping thanks to the adjustable waist clasps.

These simple jelly slides caught deals writer (and former shoe designer) Martha Tuber’s eye. “I know the brand has been turning out highly rated versions of classic Birk styles for years, so I have plenty of faith in their quality, especially for the price,” she says. Zhao tried several to find the best one, and this was one of his top picks.
