Apple’s 2025 MacBook Air is $250 off right now — a fairly decent deal for a not-too-old Apple product.

The older model (the Ultra 3 came out in September) of Apple’s rugged smartwatch is $300 off, which is by far the cheapest it’s ever been. McMahon says it’s worth the price. It has an extra-durable design and a large display that make it great for outdoor fitness use. But the best feature, McMahon says, is its extended battery life. It can last up to 72 hours in low-power mode, which cuts the charge frequency in half.

I’ve had the Coway Airmega, our favorite air purifier, in my bedroom for over six years. It has an unobtrusive design and a few different intensity modes to choose from, and it’s pretty easy to clean. Senior writerMichael Zhao, who named it the best purifier, prefers it because its CADR smoke score of 233 is “exceptionally high for its compact size” and it has a separate secondary filter, which “allows you to freely replace the secondary filter anytime you sense it’s starting to fade.” That’s especially useful when it comes to reducing odors like pet smells.

But for an upgrade pick that can handle bigger spaces, go with the Blueair 211i Max. It’s Zhao’s top choice for large rooms. “It’s about the size of a 50-liter kitchen trash can, and its CADR smoke score of 410 CFM means it can quickly clean the air of rooms as large as 615 square feet on its own,” he says. We loveDyson vacuums of all styles, and while the V8 is a slightly older model, it still works just as well (especially when you can buy it for under $400). It’s super-lightweight, great for pet hair, and has a battery life of 40 minutes. The three extra attachments are ideal for detangling hair, cleaning nooks and crannies, and dusting or vacuuming soft surfaces.

For those in the market forvacuums, the best early deal so far is on Levoit’s LVAC-300, which is our favorite lightweight cordless vacuum. Zhao says it’s the best option “for smaller homes with hard-surface flooring.” It’s not the most powerful or longest-lasting, but it does enough for a small space, and its small size makes it easy to store and handle.

And for a mop-vacuum combo tool, the best deal is on this Shark model (Shark makes many of our favorite affordable vacuums, so the company is trustworthy). This one has a built-in light to illuminate dirt, a vacuum function to suck up dirt (so it doesn’t just get pushed around), and a spray mop to fully absorb and clean floors.

Another good deal from Shark: Its portable carpet and upholstery cleaner, now $110. It comes with a dual-activated formula to remove spots and stains.

“Cuckoorice cookersare the most common ones you’ll see in Korean households,” says Wartzman, and the company makes one of her favorites — thepressure cooker–rice cooker combo.
